It seems as if the players are suggesting one thing, while Carletto and Galliani suggest otherwise.... No denying that Pato IS AND WILL BE something very special indeed, but it doesn't guarantee success at Milan...Hopefully he listens to both sides and does not take any for granted...
He should def. listen to Carlo and Galliani in order to realize his potential On the other hand, he should listen to the players so that his development as a player remains unspoiled

>>>>>>>>>>BOMB NEWS ON PATO<<<<<<<<<
Berlusconi today said on tv that, according to the reports coming from Milanello, Ancelotti himself (who is known to be a very cautious man), said that if Pato fulfill the premises put in the last six months of trainings, he can score 30 goals from January to June Translated: they believe to have a player in the same calibre of the first Ronaldo of Barcelona

yeah I read that. I dont understand how they dont want to put pressure on the kid and they say things like this. He is only 18! For the kids sake I really hope the press don't talk too much about Berlu's recent words.
Besides, there is a keyword that so many people over look at times --> IF . It said that IF he fulfills what he did in training over the last four (not six) months of training then he can score that much. But didn't they say that about a more experienced Riccardo Oliveira too? |

They talk too much about the kid. Let him do the talking on the pitch. They should be quiet so that the fans get a surprise. Too late now...

I disagree; if he has the potential to achieve, then why not? If Pato does believe that he has the potential and he believes that he is competent enough to score, then why not?

In other words, look at what they have been doing to CR7, Rooney and Lewis Hamilton...The list goes on and on... Quote:

Bit too much hype on Pato methinks, though I'm sure he's special.

If it is media hype, to hell with it but if it is Berlu being unreasonable, poor kid

Relax guys, if Pato is confident about his abilities, there are no statements in the world that would damage his performance.. 18 is not an infant age, look at Benzema..

As I have said earlier, I guess the hype could have been worse if he had gone to England, huh? The tabloids would be all over him, like they were all over David Beckham, Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney and Lewis Hamilton

I think so far in the last 20 + years the board and staff has always showed how wisely the can let talents grow up.
Like it or not, if the guy is so good, you can't hide him too long. Anyway, i agree they should protect him better, but if even Carlo praises him in front of the media it's because they are 99% sure the guy is a phenomenon.
