Nothing has changed, no news because of their new striker.

I predict, that Edin has already signed a pre-contact.

Both Milan and Dzeko have agreed on it. I have found it a bit odd, that Milan went so strongly after him, the weeks of talks and rumors, and later Edin said he is okay with staying one more year there. There is something we don't know about ...and I assume it is that pre-contact.

Would be very strange for all parties involved if Dzeko does make the move to Milan this year....won't believe it til I see it.

Bosniaco, any news from your friend now that Dzeko signed a pre-contract with Wolfsburg?

Why would he sign a contract extension if he were going to transfer to us this season? This move is as good as over.

He signed a new contract with a buyout clause.

Yes, but the buyout clause would be active from next season, no?

If the player wants to leave THIS YEAR, then there's no point even signing the contract extension. The clubs would just negotiate and the transfer concluded one way or the other.

now that we've signed Huntelaar, does anyone think we will sign Dzeko next year?

Bosniaco, Siregar and the rest of our bosnian friends, what are the recent rumours? Do they say that he has a pre-contract agreement for next year?

There's probably some agreement by way of first option or price, but in the end of the day, if Huntelaar and Boriello prove to be reliable, we may not enforce the agreement.

In football you never know what is going to happen in the future. I can see this as the last season for Inzaghi, which opens up a spot for a Dzeko kind of striker. However, we already have Paloschi and Zigoni lining up to play in the same position so it will be tough to sign Dzeko even if Inzaghi leaves. At the moment, Dzeko joining us at the end of the season is close to impossibility. Still never say never.

could someone plz tell me why we could be buying Dzeko?????
leonardo has been asking for fullbacks, a creative midfielder, & a striker all summer...so we got Huntelaar, why do we need another striker? shouldn't we be worried about the other 2-3 positions we need to fill? why do we need a right winger(is he??? Krasic)
i think if we need anything offensively is someone to fill kaka's shoes because so far ronaldinho is falling way short...and i think the only offensive option we should be looking @ is a cassano: probably the most in-form player in the Serie A, ITALIAN, excellent age, talent, strength, and desire to play the world cup...

I think the speculation is more based on selling papers/increasing hits on websites...than being based on reality.

I doubt we will b going for him again, neither in Jan, nor in the summer.

agreed. I think this Krasic can play right mid, which is something we need. Another pure striker doesnt make sense. Cassano, with a 20 mil buyout clause should be bought no excuses.
