Ah well....the UCL is back, and Silva is out....dont see us winning this one, if we allow them to hit us on the counter as we let Cesena do on the weekend.
A draw is what I expect. FORZA MILAN regardless

Too bad we can't fuse two okay defenders into one good one...

If yes, then I'm starting to like Allegri's way...
Hey Geo, how's Auxerre lately? Are they in good form or something like that in Ligue 1?

Wow... Sokratis out, and not injured. Allegri is strict.
Guess it's time to see what Yepes is made of. I predict the following line-up: Abbiati/Amelia Bonera - Yepes - Nesta - Antonini Seedorf - Pirlo - Ambro Pato - Ibra - Dinho/Binho

One bad game and being dropped is good coaching? Two things about that:
-I am not so sure that's the right way after one game -Even if it is the right way, it depends on the - character and attitude - player not the coach if it will have the desired effect

I think that the reason why Papa is out is because he is the less needed.
If he is in someone esle out. |

There is a list of players for CL, Sokratis is a part of it. There are only 19 players called for tomorrow. Sokratis could have been included without necessarely put someone else out of the list ... And about the few messages before: I wrote that it could be because he is punished, but there is no source nor proof about that !! Allegri will probably explain why he didn't call him. Then, maybe during the last game, Allegri asked to Sokratis to do some things and the guy didn't do them ... It's not always strictly about the performance itself, if Sokratis decided to defend a way Allegri didn't want, it is normal to "punish" him. So you see, without knowing the reason why the guy isn't called, we can make as many hypothesises as there are people here !!

Exactly, if he didn't listen to Allegri, punish him. He's a stubborn Greek, and he certainly fouled up a few times. But again, they were counter attacks, and the midfield has to be blamed first and foremost....
Hopefully Ronaldinho starts and plays well, then Robinho will come into for any of the top 3, it doesn't matter who, as i'd like to see Pato play up Top... or maybe even a 4-3-1-2 -------------Ibrahimovic----Pato---------------- ----------------------Robinho------------------- ------------Seedorf---Pirlo---Ambrosini---------- --------Antonini--Bonera--Nesta--Zambrotta----- -----------------------Amelia------------------- |

Maybe Allegri is protecting Sokratis? Who knows, but, I think Allegri knows him better than we do, but, I also think that it might be a bad choice to drop him completely. However, something tells me that this isn't about a poor game, but like someone else said, failure to follow instructions.
Allegri pulling Dinho at the 55 minute mark was something I did not expect. I think Allegri is showing a ruthless streak in him, or to signal that he's capable of doing that. If we were 0-0 with Cesena, I think he would have taken off Ibra, too. As for the Auxerre game, I honestly would rather see Abate in Ambro's spot. I think Bonera will be next to Nesta, and I hope that Zambrotta takes that RB spot. I don't think Abbiati loses his spot for this game, but, I think he knows he's under pressure, he did not make any real mistakes, but, the second goal from Cesena sticks out for me as something he could have done more on. I just hope that we don't have a Gattuso/Ambro partnership against Auxerre. I know that Allegri sees Abate as a RB, and I think he did well against Cesena, but I still would like to see him given a chance next to Pirlo. I wouldn't be surprised to see Abate in the RB spot and Seedorf simply replacing Gattuso. |
