Thank you Sheikh, Raiola, Galliani, and of course, Berlusconi who's been taking heavy fire these last three years.

Welcome to Milan, Robinho. Now let's kick the living merda out of, well, Merda!

Forza Milan!

I doubt it unless Pirlo isn't one of the 2. This should deepen our squad and be more useful for rotation and lots of games. Also, there are still doubts over Dinho's future, so Robinho could be a long term solution.

Guys we will never start a match with 4-2-3-1, at least not with Pato and Ronaldinho who don`t track back.. Inter did it, but Pandev and Eto were playing "LB" and "RB" when needed.

We will play still a combined 4-3-3 that can alter to 4-2-3-1 when we need to score goals or need to play Gung ho. Otherwise it will be a suicide, every average coach will not how to exploit the space between the lines.

Believe me, robiho is not stupid. He knows that he will have to sit out some games.he knows that dinho is the brains of this outfit and pato is simply milan. and when he agreed to come here, he knew that.

Well Allegri surely does have a selection headache now, but let's call it a good headache.

Anyhow, IMO i don't think we'll see them play together much although they surely will at times. The problem with it is, as many here have said, it unbalances the side. Because the two players that will play wide, whether it is Dinho-Pato or Pato-Binho...etc, won't go back regularly to cover. 4-2-3-1 can only work if it is transformed into a 4-5-1 when defending. Meaning both wings work back and the CM/ACM of the line of 3 goes back as well forming a 5 midfielder unit. If that doesn't happen then you have an unbalanced side that will surely be unable to cope with pressure. No matter how good the defense is, if not covered by the midfield, will give up opportunities because you will have opponents running straight at them constantly.

In any case, it'll be interesting to see what happens. I personally wouldn't play a 4-2-3-1 with the current players that we have. At least that wouldn't be my preferred formation, although I believe that it can be tried out against smaller teams that we know will park the bus for 90 minutes. Those are the games where we should dominate possession and perhaps get away with this ultra-attacking line-up. Also, we will surely see some of it in parts of games that we need to score goals (ex. down a goal or two).

I totally agree with Nefremo. A 4-2-3-1 with lazy Ronaldinho and Pato that fail to track back will not work in important games. Dont forget that we need a player like Pato a lil further upfront to spark a counter and use his space when we r without the ball.

A 4-3-3 should be more like it with Boateng (if in world cup form), Ambro and Pirlo. However, i will expect Allegri to be flexible with his tactics as Robinho can also partner Ibra in a 4-3-1-2 formation if Pato is unavailable due to recurring injury. And Dinho playing in the hole behind them. Although i must confess that the left side looks like home to Dinho now.

Selection headache for Aleggri...but he didnt win best coach in serie a for 2 seasons for nothing...FORZA Milan
