We'll see tomorrow afternoon if Van Bommel and Emmanuelson can be good in our team I think ...

We'll face a team being in trouble in attack since they lost Cassano. If we're serious behind, it should be a win for us !!

How many training sessions has Urby took part in? Or Van Bommel? Of course there's always an exception like Sneijder with Merda last season and that Coppa is of our lowest priority too this season, but I'd rather see some of our youngsters play tomorrow.

Given the large number of injuries (Gattuso, Pirlo, Boateng, Strasser, Flamini and Seedorf are all out) and knowing these two guys won't take part to our CL campaign ... I would launch them tomorrow.

Makes sense. Would rather rest our first team players not all. Coz we ve got games coming in thick and fast from now on. It will also give us an idea of where they will play for us as well. N i dont think Milan are taking Coppa Italia too lightly coz we fielded a very strong team against Bari.

The reason for buying these new signings (esp MvB) is to rest everyone else and supply cover for injuries.. This is the situation to do it against a poor Sampdoria attack with No Pazzini.....

This is a very delicate period and obviously we have many injuries.
Officially Injured:
Andrea Pirlo, Mathieu Flamini, Clarence Seedorf, Rodney Strasser, K-P Boateng, Gennaro Gattuso, Gianluca Zambrotta, Alessandro Nesta, Filippo Inzaghi

Now, it is of my opinion that because we are in somewhat of a mini-injury crisis, we MUST rest as many first team players as possible, therefore I would rest Ibra, Abate, Antonini, T. Silva (because Nesta will be out a few weeks)

I believe we are still competitive with this squad, perhaps Bonera can be used instead of Emmanuelson on the left, but other than that, I like the squad, and would also have Oduamadi or Beretta come in to play to take out Robinho or Cassano in this game, esp if we're winning...

Forza Milan, and hopefully we have a full squad back healthy soon!!!

Urby is more likely to play than Van Bommel, but let's wait and see. Oddo did okay on our last game so he deserves a chance. Based on their awesome performances against Cesena, I think Sokratis and Yepes will be our first choice back-ups for Nesta-Silva duo so another official match playing together can only do them good. Cassano played the whole 90 mins against Bari and 80 mins against Cesena so I'd rather bench him (along with Ibra) and send in Oduamadi instead.

The line-up I'd like to see: Roma; Oddo, Sokratis, Yepes, Bonera; Urby, Ambrosini, Merkel; Robinho, Oduamadi, Pato.

On side note, Galliani said something about the change of format in Coppa. So is this gonna be a one game only like against Bari? Or home and away like in the past?

Allegri just confirmed both new players would play tomorrow (and he called them "midfielders" so Emmanuelson is a midfielder in the mind of Allegri) ...
If Ambro isn't fit, Thiago will play again as a midfielder.

So it's likely we'll see a Urby-Ambro-MVB midfield or Urby-Thiago-MVB midfield ...

Almost, but I think if Thiago isn't involved in midfield, he'll play in defence ...

And Allegri said Cassano shouldn't start tomorrow because he needs a rest (that means he'll start this week end), meaning Marathon Runner Robinho will be our AM again behind Pato and Ibra.

Allegri also said Anto will play because Bonera is not in a "good moment" right now.
As for midfield, i'm guessing it will be the new guys & Ambro (if fit otherwise Thiago) with Merkel in CAM and Pato + 1 of Ibra/Binho upfront
