How Montolivo's form could drop at such drastical level is a question for me.
When we signing him from Fiorentina, he was not any inferior to the current Biglia. And he proved that in the seasons before taking the armband (which he deserved, as there was only Abbiati as other suitable candidate).
Maybe playing higher (which he denied before) could help him, as he could advoid his weaknesses in defending and free to attack with through balls and long shoots.
