Jay, could you give some info on Baselli (playing style etc). I admit I haven't seen a lot of him so don't really know how good he is. I'm interested that he's from the Atalanta youth set up, which is quite possibly the best producing youth system in Italy.
Apparently Santon's confirmed we've shown interest in him:

This doesn't mean he's coming obviously, but just confirms rumours.
If we get both Alex and Rami, then Mexes is pretty much certain to leave (PSG want him apparently to replace Alex):

Apparently Berlu is set on selling Balotelli and we're doing what we can to get Paloschi back (negotiations yesterday didn't see any progress):

Interestingly, given we're not in Europe Inzaghi might accept having Pazzini and Paloschi as our forwards for the coming season (something I'm not against). Also, De Jong is apparently angry at Seedorf's treatment and wants to leave (he said he'll discuss his future with the club).
Benfica's bid for 3m was rejected, but they could increase the offer:

Cristante and his agent have shown some interest, though hopefully we'll hold firm. I think if we show him confidence that he'll be given a fair chance, then he would happily reject offers.
Cesena are trying to push for Petagna:

I actually think it could be the best solution for him, though apparently both Udinese (as part of a Gabriel Silva deal) and Chievo (as part of the Paloschi deal) have both requested him.
Welcome back, hope to see you post more

Long time passed since I wrote last, I am very busy right now.
Hope you will enjoy this summer transfer season, but don't take it too seriously if it's different from your preference.
