Great game between France vs Switzerland, especially after the snorefest that is Italy vs Costa Rica. Honduras tried to be physical and it didn't stifle French's technical superiority a jot. Switzerland had little option but to go toe-to-toe after conceeding two goals in a quick succession and were punished with French's ruthless counter-attack.

Pele didn't even consider France as a candidate but they look promising. Their true test will be in 1/8 round against (likely) BiH.
