After Abate's latest comments I am beginning to think that Galliani has put him up to this, to work the PR machine. Abate talks about how he wants ItalMilan to happen and how he hopes that Berlusconi doesn't sell.

Not sure it's Galliani. Many players can feel uneasy with the proposed sale, as if it happens a big clear out can be on the cards.

I am probably reading too much into it, but with these too, and how Berlusconi has always used the media, nothing can be ruled out.

Well, Abate himself may be on the chopping board if Milan is bought by anyone with ambition, so I guess ItalMilan isn't such a bad idea to him (and many other mediocre Italian players).

Plus, they won't get paid nearly as nicely if they moved to any other team. They should have a lot of appreciation to Galliani (for his stupidity) and Berlusconi (for allowing Galliani's stupidity).

Exactly... For some players the incompetence of this management is heaven.

Are you sure? I checked (no I didn't) and Milan Channel claimed that the protest has been postponed for 10-15 days.
