Really wish that they are the one to be scared at the prospect of meeting us before semifinals, and not us... but oh well Devilcool

Our squad is already good enough as it is now, we should concentrate on preparing Serie A first matches, and with good teamwork we'll win Serie A again, and go far in Europe if we get some nice draws.

But in all honesty, we only got a couple of quotes like that this summer. More often, we are being told that whoever comes will come at the end of August. Allegri just mentioned that we would get an important player for LCM, and he's said that many times before as well.

There seems to be a bleak attitude towards our mercato lately regarding who we pick up. (I think some people on this site got too carried away with the Cesc rumors). But in all honesty, I'm very hopeful that we will get someone really good! Probably not "Cesc-good", but I still have a feeling that we will make a significant purchase before summer is over.

Hang in there...
Agreed, russo-neri.

Also, it is true that we already did get Taiwo, El Sharaawy, Mexes, Paloschi..And we kept all key players. Cassano is also a new player given that he was cup tied last year...

BUT

we are milan fans, we were used to being the best and getting best players...so the last decade or so we are all very sad to see best players go to clubs with more money ( or bigger desire to get into debt)..

...and you are right, Cesc rumors did get us carried away a bit

As long as we're used to winning, I actually don't care what kind of players play for us Sagrin... I certainly expect a BANG! in late August, but if no more players come at that moment then, well, I still believe that we'll win again, again, and again.

Yes and the fact is that we are stronger than last year.

Inter didn't do anything remarkable in the market..and if they sell Snejider, they are out of the race...even if they buy tevez.

Roma and Juve will need time to become a team...But Napoli could be dangerous...aldough I think Cavani cannot have another season like the last one.

To me, whenever the MGT say the signings are in late August, it means they are waiting for bargains. Which also means lack of fundings and plannings. When you look at teams around the world, the great teams want to get their players ASAP. That way the squad will have the whole season to work together.

I am not against getting bargain players but those are icing on the cake instead of the cake itself. As I really doubt teams only start discussing transfers when the transfer window open.

Then we will be one great team to take precedence, to start the new philosophy of getting bargains while winning trophies; I certainly wouldn't mind.

That is impossible since both \Milan and Barca are top seeded and they will be in different groups. This fact alone tells us that we are still considered to be a great club so meeting Barca in the semis or in the quarters should not be of a great deal for us. We are the most internationally decorated club in the world after allSagrin

Milan this is year is the second pot and Inter have beaten us for the first time in a long time.

First seed are: Man U, Barca, Real, Chelsea, Arsenal, Inter, Bayern, Porto..then comes Milan.
