what a disgrace! ses can't find 50m to buy the club but expect us to believe they'll invest 150m in summer?!
also, how the fuck did inter manage to get sold to an established, rich, ambitious group in just a couple of months? meanwhile we've been attracting conmen like bee and ses for 2 years now. idiot berlu should start by taking business lessons from moratti!

It's sad.....we went from being one of the best managed clubs in the world to being one of the absolute worst! What incompetence from Fininvest and Berlusconi! This is so embarrassing. Why are they even selling to to a group that literary has NO money!?!?
The reputation of this club is being dragged through the mud! Forget about signing big players. Who will want to join this circus??? No sane person would. At this rate, just the survival of this club will be in danger....on course to record another 90mil in operating losses. What a fucking joke!!
I still think that this sale will go through sooner or later....but now I am honestly worried about the future with the new owners. There is no way these people will invest the amounts mentioned. This seems like more of a "Thohir" type of takeover than a "Suning" takeover.
really not sure what to make of this news...
positives...
1. 200m non-refundable deposit already paid.
2. hiring respected professionals like fassone + mirabelli. fassone has worked for juve, napoli + inter and just today mancini said axing him was inter's biggest mistake. frank de boer also called the departure of mirabelli regrettable.
3. rumours of 150m mercato budget + player sales to be spent on quality not quantity.
4. renewing our young stars contracts e.g. donna, des + suso is a priority.
5. 150m mercato budget won't all be required this summer as player payments will probably be deferred over a number of years.
6. fininvest have been desperate to offload milan for years so surely would've performed the necessary due diligence on ses.
negatives...
1. ses was a breakaway group from bee's original consortium. that should raise eyebrows in itself.
2. constant delays and issues in raising and moving money. several of the investors are supposed to be multi-billion dollar companies yet can't raise a few hundred million between them?
3. yonghong li (ses leader) isn't particularly rich and was sanctioned by the authorities for failing to disclose stock sales years ago.
For the sake of the club and everyone's sanity, I really hope this sale doesn't happen. Part of me was always very concerned with this sale, because the buyer seemed very shady to me.
Unlike Suning, who at least had a reputable business, this SES is made up by some shadowy middle man who is using the government as their calling card and strung together a bunch of random investors. Even if they do have enough money and buy the team, the likelihood of this many investors staying on the same page to guide the team forward is nearly impossible. And that is assuming SES is telling the truth on everything. For all the talk of how this is a group backed by the government, they seem to have a lot of trouble getting around government regulations on everything. I have a hard time understanding how the government would ask this group to buy the team and then set up roadblocks to the whole thing. And then there are all these delays. I mean, why do you even do a business deal if you don't even know how to finance it? That's like me going to buy a Mazaratti and then asks the salesman "Do you know how I can get an extra 100,000 to actually pay for this?"
At this point, it is abundantly clear that these buyers are not trustworthy at all. Even if they somehow manage to find the money to get the deal closed, all the money they promised to invest in the team could be and probably will be gone the next morning. I know they have Fassone and Mirabelli flying all around the world doing all of this scouting and junk, and acting like they have major plans going forward, but these guys are quite simply liars. If I were a betting man, i'd bet they lied to Fassone and Mirabelli too. There is no major project on the horizon, just some random dudes with unknown motives. We can either keep dragging this on for Berlu's entertainment, or we can cut the cord on this, and to me, the smart money should be cutting this off right now. Fininvest have better things to do than wasting all this time with these nobodies.
think i've figured out the "m.night shyamalan" twist in the tale guys...
the investor who pulled out today was a fictitious multi-billion dollar corp created by mr.bee to spite the deal as revenge for ses sabotaging his deal last year by pulling out last minute!
if we actually haev this 200m deposit then I suppose it isn't all bad... Even if Fininvest only use half of that. With the right signings we could yet still see Berlu's ItalMilan...
200mill could get us Verratti, BErnadeschi, Belotti, Astori/Rugani, Insigne. Still leaves us without a LB unfortunately...
