Summer Mercato 2011
About Fabregas, a bit of news worth noting that Arsenal named him in the squad for the Udinese CL-matches. So if negotiations don't conclude until Aug. 16., there is a high possibility that Fabregas steps on the field against Udinese, thus killing any hope for Barcelona or Milan to get him this summer.

I don't really mind... This saga has been too long already.
A bit OOT, this Russian's Anzhi, wasn't it the same club whose lucrative proposal was rejected by Rino? Looks like they come back with an "intelligent and fair" offer for Eto'o whose agent said the agreement is near. Wow! First Sneijder admitted that Merda need money and now this saga. Looks like it's our cousins' turn to balance the book.

Ah, well, to quote The Little Corporal, "never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."

Even the saga takes time until the last minute of mercato, I will wait it is about Fabregas. Very little sacrifice (ONLY to wait) compared the name being talked about.

It doesn`t mean they will make a mistake...Eto is turning 30 soon, and a 35 mil is not an offer you can refuse, neither is the 35 that they will make after Snejder sale.

My guess is that Moratti is aware that with this team he will not be getting any silverware any time soon, so he is just rebuilding radically (not as we did for 5 years Big Grin),hence all the youngsters Alvares,Faraoni,Santon,Ranochia,Jonathan with 70 mil in cash they can add Tevez and two other aquistions and have a great team for the future.

No ho visto Superman volare, ma ho visto Super Pippo segnare. I supereroi esistono davvero.
Considering Moratti's sense of building a great squad..., well, I'm just happy they're selling them. Big Grin

I believe something BIG is coming up! Remember guys, our best transfers are always done at the END of august.

But the both would cost 10-15 million.
Im saying that the fine screwed proposed plans, and the thinking of :We now have Urby El Sharawwy Cassano V.Bommel Mexes Taiwo a fit Pato that we didnt have in the CL last season.Thats good to go further.
If Monty and or Aqua can be got cheap they prob will.

Nothing points to a big huge Fabregas 40 million transfer absolutely nothing.in 6 days he'll be cup tied.Hamsik is going nowhere Scgweinsteiger is going nowhere , Pastore is gone and Ganso has said himself he's not leaving for 6 months if he does.

That leaves who ? Kaka , as much as I think Madrid would sell if the right offer came in , that offer would be 20-25 million .There is no way they'll sell him 2 years after breaking a record to sign him for 10 or 11 million.

Time is ticking and while people say don't believe anything Galli say's , I don't see how fan's have so much faith a big signing will arrive and maybe Drogba ? Monty/Aqua.
Then there is this Milan do there best business in the last 2 days of August , that happened ONCE last season. It didnt happen the year before or before or before or befoe etc etc etc....This is not a true fact great signings on the last day.Only one I can remember that made us all happy were Binho (Ibra signed a week before it ended) and Nesta.2 in 10 years doesnt mean its how we do business.

The point is, I don't think Arsenal have given up on keeping Fabregas for the coming season. Playing him against Udinese would pretty much settle things in favor of Arsenal I believe, at least for the time beign.

About waiting, sure thing, there isn't really much else to do for a fan in summer. If we bought Fabregas today, there would be still 21 days left until the end of the transfer window, as it is now. We would just speculate on different names Smile
Arsenal won't give up to hold him in Arsenal but there is also one significant factor involves in this saga, Fabregas. It will be stupid for Arsenal if they play Fabregas while they know they 'have to' sell Fabregas (due to his desire leaving for bigger club, if the news about it true). It will lower his price and no club won't do such thing IMO.

Well I guess we'll know if he plays against Udinese
And we will know where he plays when the transfer window is officially closed.
