Binho, Boateng, Seedorf, Gattuso (yes him too), even Ibra sometimes both attack AND defend, these people are always Allegri's priorities, Cassano and Pato, if everything equals to last season, will alter. Our complaint is when facing MU or Madrid who press hard, Milan players just don't pass as quickly, unless we wanna counter press and build up congestion in midfiled, the players' age and flair will do fine. Most of the time when the midfield won't work, they'll pass to Silva and let him try assisting Ibra, and wait for maybe 20 mins window to do something extraordinary, the exact tactic teams like Cagliari use to deal with Milan.

Guy's i know most of us got really excited over the possibility of cesc coming in, butt let's face it i was even optomistic about it but his main objective has always been barca.. Let's see what happens with the transfer market.. someone mention galliani had an interesting quote about xavi, well xavi could come really it's possible because alcantara is one of barcas better youth products and he's been preforming really well for them, xavi is one of their main faces however how can barca possibly pay all these wages? one big name in one should be going out especially after they signed sanchez as well thats crazyness.. If we do sign xavi lets say, why would we let pirlo go in the first place? Their both old and both pass masters, i was hoping for a more pacey midfielder one like schweini or cesc who can make runs and like idunno.. just add something big i guess , xavi would be good but we would still need a cam..

I understand why many of you are probably so upset.. they've been saying stupid shit about this mr x for so long now, why would raiola say he's been working on a deal since like january or w.e and say the players this hes that and also galliani saying he'll be a "champion" now the whole story all of a suden changes..

You don't know, we don't know about Fabregas' transfer-story before his move is official. The point is all of us here in MM only use 'I think, we think' when they talk about transfer of Fabregas. We know it when it becomes official. So, why should poster who knows nothing about Fabregas' transfer-talk judged gregapenny and made fun of him?

Hey Boldboy. It's quite simple. I used the words I THINK because I never claim to KNOW what is happening in all the Cesc bs. Gregapenny instead came here and said he KNEW that Cesc was coming to Milan thanks to his "sources". He obviously was talking out of his ass. That's why I think he should be called out.

Sorry if I disappoint you with this buddy, but the only quote made by Galliani about Xavi is that we almost signed Xavi when he was 19 years old, and that's all there is to it. And I don't see why Barca should sell him now they got Cesc and Thiago. How can they afford their salaries? Well, they just can. I don't know how they could buy Ibra at that huge price, or Chryginski (sp?) only to sell them at discounted prices the following year, or splashing 70 M this year for positions they're already covered; they just can

Well, Xavi played >30 games for the last five years and did so on a constantly high level while Pirlo was pretty inconsistent these past few years and spent most of his time on treatment table last year. But we're NOT going to sign Xavi (or any Schweiny/Cesc for that matter) after the €560 fine to our club's parent company Fininvest so let's stop it here and start talking about whose turn is it now to accompany Galliani panhandling on the street to cough up some extra £ to buy Aquilani

Problem #2, Bayern wants to win and to sell their keyman at the middle of August, who can they find as replacement?
Problem #3, Why would Barca sell Thiago if the whole world knows he is going to be the best youth product since Iniesta?

Problem #1 - Berlu has the money. If he wants to spend, he will (e.g. Ibra and Binho purchases last year).
Problem #2 - I seriously doubt Bayern wants to sell one of their players in his prime.
Problem #3 - Objectively speaking, there's no room for Thiago in their first squad, unless they do some serious rotation, which would make developing team play a lot harder when you don't have a consistent first team.

That said, I would love to have either of those player in Milan team. But regarding Thiago... he is still very very very young... can a team like Milan rely on such player as the main creative force in CL? I doubt it. Not until 2-3 years from now.

The only problem is the money IMO. If the right offer arrives, the clubs are prepared to sell them.

Galliani can convince Bastian to come, unsettle him, break-up with Bayern, then he requests the transfer.

It is true that there is no room for Thiago, but would that make sense for someone like him. Afterall, we are talking about a 20 yrs old, who really is just beginning to play at the highest level. He will probably get all the Copa games and some League games here and there, plus the last 2 CL group stage games. Isn't that a better way to develop talent like Thiago then throwing him into the starting lineup and hopes he realizes his potential right away?

As Bastian said (always according to L'Equipe) Milan are a great club. While we aren't in a healthy financial state, we're still one of the best clubs around. And I don't think Bayern are more competitive than us in Europe.
