Getting Kaka and Lass would be great. I don't think Kaka is asking for a first team spot, rather he just wants out from Real. Since he knows he is not in the rotation plan of JM. Having Kaka will be great, even if it means paying 20mil for him, bc he is special and could be the difference maker between winning and losing a CL game.

Why we need both Kaka and Lass? If we want to find Bommel replacement, we should find better player and we can do that next season, not this year. We should prioritize the most needed first then others can be done later. If we want to replace Flamini, I think Kaka could 'replace' him. Having Kaka will make Boateng play in midfield, in Flamini position. With Seedorf/Aquilani, Bommel, Boateng and Kaka as CAM we will have two free DMs, Ambro and Gattuso. We still have Silva who can play there (not always playing there but for some occasions).

Well, why not? I am not saying Lass is replacing Flamini bc like you I don't think he needs a replacement since he is only a backup player and if Milan really needs a DM, Silva can fill in here and there. To get a replacement for Flamini during his injuries is like Milan searching for CB if Bonera is injured now.
My point of having these two, both are quality players. To me, Lass is a more defensive Boateng, while I already mentioned Kaka. If Real is willing to package both players now for a special price, there is no reason why Milan should not take it, as both are players who can help Milan now. The other thing is thinking ahead, all Slowdorf, Gattuso, Ambro, MVB and Flamini will be free agents next summer. As it stands now, only Boateng and Aqua are under contract at midfield. Now, I think it will be foolish to sign 5 new Mids to replace the older 5 in one summer, thus Milan will be force to sign extension with at least 3 if not 4 of them. Now if Milan can sign Lass and Kaka now, and both of them play solid. They will not be force to sign extension with them, heck they could even replace all of them in one summer. |
