Isn't Tuttosport arguably the most unreliable source of news? Anyway, I'm against his buying but if it's a loan with option to buy (and not "mandatory" option to buy) + pay cut, I think I can settle with that.
Perhaps if he can stay relatively injury free next year like Aquilani at Juve and help us win the 19th scudetto, we'll thank him and buy Ganso instead thus saving us the sweat from having to deal with his father about another pay rise

The chance of getting Pedro Leon is quite high as he is Braida's favorite, Madrid want him out and he has quality & youth.
Remember some point during the market they said they are working on something in France, now that it seems random bs, it can happen all of a sudden.

We have Van Bommel, Gattuso, Ambrosini & Flamini as DMs. Flamini is injured but he can come back in Feb. Rino will miss only 4 CL matches. And we can force Aquilani to play DM if needed.
Silva can be a emergency DM. Antonini played some matches in the mid, so I think he could be another Jankulovski, not good at LB but can play DM sometimes.
I think we just need some technique & creativity in the center.

You're right but a valid alternative to Gattuso is needed though, with Flamini out. I wouldn't count much on Antonini and Aquilani for that position. Thiago is needed in the defense.

I'm sorry but our problem is NOT DM's. We need 2-way midfielders & (1) World Class Attacking Midfielder. We have as stated before 3-5 Defensive Midfielders. How many do you want??
We needed Hamsik, Pastore, Cesc, or Ganso. At this point even I will settle with Kaka (LOAN ONLY). As a band-aid for this season.
