I don't think it will be Ganso, he doesn't have to do anything with Genoa. Maybe Casemiro, there have been some rumors about him.

Also according to Sportmediaset, Milan has agreed terms with Genoa about Kevin Costant, but will sign him next season, or in January if necessary.

Ganso
So who did they agree with Genoa for??...I hope it's Kucka
Kucka said that he'll sign for Inter. Two names are circulating: Costant and Casemiro.

Ganso is way too pricey for Genoa though. Boateng's case was different.

Just a hypothesis: Ganso's price is 24M, Milan and Genoa pay 12M each (co-own), then after a year, we will pay Genoa 15-16M for the rest if Ganso performs well. So we will have the football benefit (CL & Scudetto), and Genoa have the financial benefit (3-4M).

Ganso's asking price is higher, isn't it? Besides, even 12M for Genoa would be a great amount, can they afford it, even though they'll get a bigger fee next year.

Latest rumor is about Fernando Tissone, his agent said that Milan are interested. Who is this guy? I only know that he plays/played for Samp.

Hi guys, I haven't been on for awhile, but still try to read most of your great posts!!
Thought I'll add some of my thoughts on this year's mercato.
Overall, it's been quite a dull one, especially after winning the scudetto and management saying we would buy a wc player (mr.X) and a couple of more quality players! I've got no issues with the current signings, especially getting a good backup center back "Mexes" and a decent left back "Taiwo". I'm glad we signed El Shaarawy - a great buy for the future! hopefully we don't keep him on the bench wasting away!! I'm also very pleased we signed Aquilani, I've always rated this guy highly, especially when he was playing for Roma, hopefully he can stay injury-free! Keep in mind, one of Allegri strengths is getting the best out of players!
I think...where I'm most disappointed is, we couldn't sign a big-name player (mr.x)! It's sad to see other great clubs (i.e. Barcelona, Real Madrid etc. - I know these clubs have higher revenue and pay less taxes!) who keep paying huge sums of cash for wc players and we keep missing out! it's a shame! Especially when we have great confidence within the playing group (after winning the scudetto) and already having some great quality players, we weren't able to strengthen the squad even further by addressing our weakest link - our 'midfield'. Plus, I understand Fininvest has had recent financial troubles, but you can't say the club can't afford to spend big on at least one wc player, compared to other clubs which are in more debt then us!!
It feels like we are missing a great opportunity to get back where we belong - fighting for the 'Champions League' title again, especially when we have some quality players such as Ibra, Robinho, Pato, Silva, Cassano, Van Bommel (some of his best form at the moment), and especially Nesta (which only has a few years left in him.). Also, most importantly "when a club splashes out and signs a wc player (like Barcelona has been doing.) it excites and brings enthusiasm within the squad and especially its fans but also it oozes confidence within club and stikes 'fear' in our opponents!"
I'm not going to discuss who we should of signed, as this as been discussed in detail already, but I would of loved if we had signed either one of these Hamsik/Pastore/Hernanes/Honda/Fabregas/Basti from Bayern, and either one or two of these: Asamoah/Montolivo/Christian Eriksen etc. There are still a few days left and I hope MGT do sign a few more players to strengthen the midfield, especially losing Flamini for six months!
Anyway, looking forward to the season ahead and hopefully we win another scudetto!
P.S. glad to read your comments fLame, even if we had a few dust-ups in the past! Plus....where is mrki! I miss his comments!!

I am not even sure if I am joking.
I watched Barca vs Villareal yesterday... and Barca played probably at 50% of their capabilities, and completely destroyed Villareal.
I don't think Villareal would be an easy opponent even for us.

Haha, nice to see you too mate. And I totally agree about "who we should have signed" part. Too bad Galliani doesn't read these forums.
"Defending is part of football... Keep possession 95% if u want... but the score is 2-2... thats it!! Well done milan.. Make serie a proud once again.. "
ah, if it isn't a joke, I wouldn't like it at all. I still believe this team is capable of everything if we play with high spirit, which we often not doing.
