Milan's Financial Position
#81
If this is all true, this guy is royally screwed....unless he and/or other investors involved have a ton of money somewhere and will just pay off these loans. Something tells me that there is no money elsewhere though. Why would anyone in their right mind pay that much interest for this long if they have the money. Better yet, why is he so desperately trying to refinance and keeps failing. I understand it's not a bad thing to carry debt....but not at that interest. That's insane.

The funny thing in all of this is a con man sold Milan to another con man

A letter has been sent to Yonghong Li, requesting another €10 million capital increase. If the money does not arrive within the next 5 days, Elliot could take over the club. [Premium Sport]

My posts are often repetitious, believe me I know.
Why would Fininvest sell and why would Elliott help this guy. 'Fininvest are dumb' and 'Elliott don't care because they will take over and resell the team' are not correct answers, they just aren't. This amount and risk is not how it works, even Glazers with Man United and EPL money struggled to get half decent terms and borrow.

Maybe ,but than...where is it? Why this is happening? Only thing we as supporters know for sure is that we don't know nothing. At this point we can only speculate and "adopt" theories ... not by "most likely to be" pattern ,but "less unbelievable" one.
Avaiting for arrival of exorcist into our boardroom.

If the money cant be stumped up, question has to be asked to where the initial money has come from.

Is the sale still being investigated?

The question is why they invested not about protecting.

If Li is as poor as all these events indicate they wouldn't. There is no benefit to take on a money losing team with a poor owner. One of them must be true to make it worthwhile:
-owner has some revenue/money and will give you the loan back and you make money from interest
or
-the team is not money losing one so you can make money flipping it after 1 year/2 years, etc. Ross or others won't buy Milan from Elliott just like that. Elliott are not going to profit all that much if it comes to the resell scenario.

Also Fininvest dealt directly with Li, he didn't get a loan for the whole sale price, only €300m of the €740m initially.
