Milan's Financial Position
Each of Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs brought two similar dossiers after long and secret negotiations with two separate American funds with recognizable frontmen that intend to acquire the majority of Milan within 2-3 years [@PietroMazzarra]

This will then give Yonghong Li the time to return the investment made. Goldman Sachs presented a €550M offer for 75-77% of the shares and a 3-year climb. Merrill Lynch's offer still confidential but according to rumors the figures are close in terms of equity and economically

The new offers would basically mean Yonghong is taking an over 250M loss on this team in one year, without factoring all the interest payment he already had to make to Elliott. I still don't know what happened with his investors, but this has got to be one of the craziest takeover i have ever heard of. Hopefully he gets a new investor in ASAP and it is not the guy who owns Oakland Athletics.

Moneyball lol

That guy owns Oakland Athletics and San Jose Earthquakes. Both teams are among the cheapest in their sport and have little to no ambition to actually win. I live in northern California, and nobody around here thinks Oakland Athletics and San Jose Earthquakes have good ownership lol.

It needs to be Stephen Ross

I'm not sure who the Merrill Lynch rep is. Ross & Fisher are Goldman Sachs. I think they're even related somehow

edit - just to clarify.. it'll be Ross OR Fisher, not both.. but they're both involved with Goldman Sachs

The last part of the capital increase (€32M) have to be paid by Yonghong Li tomorrow at 17:00 at maximum. If not Elliott will make the payment [Sky]

The primary offer for acquiring Milan shares is presented by the Ricketts family, Thomas Ricketts in particular, CEO of investment bank of Chicago Incapital Llc and patron of Chicago Cubs [@MilanoFinanza]
