Mirabelli will be Galliani 2.0 if he brings in Zaza as a replacement for Silva.
The signing of Halilovic is interesting, it might turn into nothing but he might also finally come good.
If the reported fee of 8mill€ is correct, then it is a gamle worth taking. He offers more than Borini in terms of creativity, and could make a fine squad player.

I dont know but to me, rather than trying our luck on this kind of signing (once was hype), I rather spend on youngster that has potential for future.

Halilovic is what it is.He disappointed in Barca B then Gijon i guess he was okay at Hamburg and Las Palmas hes was mediocre at best.If hes anything above poor it'll be fine.

Halilovic is young, he just turned 22, and he has a lot of potential for the future. To me he is more interesting to bring into the team than one of our own like Zanellato. Our youngsters are yet to show that they can be world beaters, and Halilovic has displayed just as much, if not more, potential as most of them, perhaps bar Cutrone.

When we brought in Suso he was 21 and a failed prospect who didn’t succeed at Liverpool. He then proceeded to unimpress because he wasn’t given a proper chance until he joined Genoa on loan. Only then the club realised what he was capable of, showed him faith and now he is a well regarded player. 

Point being that some players need time to grow, Halilovic just turned 21, it is way too early to decide that we have seen the best of him. The potential is there, and I’d like to see him get to play in a good team, rather than seconda teams fighting for their survival.

Agreed to a point , I think the main difference is Suso 30 games at Almeria between starts and coming off the bench and 14 games with tiny minutes at Liverpool.Halilovic has around 200 senior games and has not much outside of Croatia he's 22 now and still the same as when he was 16 , granted ive not seen loads of him.Its a no lose situatiin if hes good great if hes not well he didnt cost much if anything

Halilovic joined Barca as an 18 year old, never played for their A team and then spent some years bouncing around from one team facing relegation to the other. That is hardly what you would call stability, and definitely not the way to groom a player into fulfilling their potential. 

Another case could be Aubameyang, came from a once-mighty club called Milan where he didn’t leave a mark. He spent 4 years at clubs where you’d think that he will be able to blossom (Dijon, Lille, Monaco and Saint Etienne) without any result. As a 22 year year old striker with 20 goals in 100 competitive matches, in a much easier league than the Spanish one, I bet that quite a few fans would call him mediocre and question if he would ever amount to anything. It was only after Saint Etienne kept fielding him that he came into himself, and now he is one of the world’s most lethal strikers worth 60Mil Pounds.

I think it's a smart signing. You get a youngster for cheap with potential. If it doesn't work out, you didn't lose much money

Agreed, and he should be a sub for either our LW or RW, - or even as an ACM if we move Hakan there next season.
