Hakan has to play behind the striker. he is more useful there.

He's listed as a CDM. Wouldn't he make more sense in that role instead of Biglia?

Is he a type of pure defensive midfielder? Or like Van Bommel? 
If he in a defensive minded anchor, he could challenge Biglia for spot in the center of the midfield or as Kessie's sub. 
Him and SMS would be great. Him, Rabiot and SMS would be dream.

He's pure defensive. A destroyer. The reason Sarri doesn't like him is because that's all he's got. No distribution. No creativity. Just plain old Destroyer type CDM

In my opinion. If we play him there then we most definitely need someone like a Rabiot as well as Hakan starting. Meaning Kessie gets dropped to the bench. Have a creative/all rounder/destroyer type midfield like we used to have back with Ambrosini/Pirlo/Gattuso then, to an extent, Seedorf/pirlo/gattuso.
For me, we need a Regista if we're playing with a box2box and an all rounder. Think Juve when they had Pirlo/Vidal/Pogba

Leo and Maldini are working secretively to bring a top midfield/ winger in. Even agents were shielded at entrance / exit . Must be something big going on there Smile
