Sassuolo in talks with Milan for swap deal involving Rafael Leao and Scamacca {Tuttosport}. on timo, i dont wish him back because his salary is enormous, on scamaca i think he isn't the player that we should trade with leao, i prefer leao than him, from what i see in him in youtube, not that impressive as a striker, but as a number 10, can he create?

Regarding Leao, if Sassoulo agrees a swap deal between Leao and Boga, I would happily welcome him to the club and will get Adolf Gaich whose release clause is just 11M who will be a great replacement for Ibra.

I wouldn't bring Baka back. It's a closed chapter for me. He can be a useful player if used correctly, but I'd rather look elsewhere.
Scamacca-Leao swap....not for me. Also because Leao cost 30+mil and I think he's still worth that. All it takes is 5-10 good ganes in a row and that amount can be closer to 40/50. Such is football and its player valuations these days. So there is no way Scamacca can be worth as much as Leao. One has only played in Serie B (and hasn't set it alight either), while the other scored goals for Lille in League 1, now plays for Milan (and also scores), and has been hailed by Sporting youth coaches as the next best thing since Ronaldo. Not saying that will come true or that players should be valued based on that...but, the reality is that they are. So again, there is NO way Scamacca can be swapped with Leao.
Having said all that, I would like for us to sign Scamacca. He seems like a very interesting player with high ceiling. Just not in a swap with Leao. But I think he can become just as good if not better.
Oh, and btw..I'm not Leao's buggest fan either. His nonchallant attitude drives me crazy. It's the one thing that'll keep him from becoming a top player if he doesn't change it.
Every young player in the past 10 years talks about Ronaldo (and Messi). But, are they too stupid to realize what sets them apart? Talent and ability is 1 thing...but I can think of others that were just as talented (maybe not in Messi's case) in their era. It's the attitude, the determination, the hunger, the seriousness, etc. It's thise mental things that keep them a class above. Same as the Maldinis, Nestas, Baresis, etc. It was that constant professionalism. And guys like Leao (and dare I say it, Balotelli, Cassano, etc) just don't get it.
It is time to stop paying lots for players and within one year they are gone or close to gone. I want a management who evaluates players well when buying and sticks with them for more than a season.

When do we give up on them though?
It seems we are stuck in some maze and can't get out. Every way we try, we get back to the beginning.
This is why I am really looking forward to the Rangnick possibility.....BUT, they gotta give the man time and I'm just afraid that's not possible here. If we have a bad start, he may very well be gone by the time November rolls around.
Also, the problem with the whooe Rangnick situation is timing. By the time this season ends...he'll only have about 5-6 weeks to plan, buy, train AND play games. This sesson won't end until August, and the next one will start September 15th. The window won't open until Sept 5th. Meanwhile, teams that will have continuity are already planning and negotiating.
It's important, from Milan's point of view, to have a clear picture of who is planning and who is buying? Is it Maldini? Rangnick? Every day we hear different reports. One day it's Maldini/Massara, and the next it's Rangnick/Gazidis. It's a mess.
I just don't want Ranginck to come and not be able to work with players he wanted. That would defeat the purpose. If Maldini/Massara are ppanning and executing, than keep them and forget Rangnick. If Rangnick is for sure coming and Maldini is leaving, than do it now. Let Pioli finish the season as a coach, but at least send a signal that Rangnick is here and HE is the one evaluating, planning and dealing for next season. It's not like it'll destabilize the team. We only have a chance for the EL anyway. And if we can't beat Parma/Verona to it, than whatever....

Seriously though, a lot of that not giving up should be when buying the player, scouting should see the potential and work with the coach to know why he is being bought. Also, the coach should know his job is to let the player grow on the pitch, not just via training.
