I was wondering where will Torreira will pop up in our team

This is one of the many reasons we are stuck financially for a long time.. coz we bought first before selling off.. and we became desperate to sell off deadwood no one wanted.. even if we managed it, we sold for ridicuously low fees. For eg.. RR is quoted at abt 3-7m range.. isnt that a stupid valuation since he is an experienced player and a current starter for his national team.. is not like is as bad as say.. Calabria..

The problem is deadwood is deadwood so even without buying new players, they also can't be sold easily. Our problem is the past is not buying proper players because we can't offload the deadwood. Our team became trash as a result so its a vicious cycle. I rather have a large squad with deadwood than having correct size squad with deadwood.

Are you hallucinating or what? Benna and Kessie pair are probably our best midfield pairing of this decade. Which matches do you even watch.

2) gattuso

5) flamini
6) pirlo
7) ambrosini
8) boateng
9) emanuelson
10) merkel


we need massive work on midfield as i said. bennacer zero assists, whereas van bommel, pirlo, flamini (these players to be fair in comparison) had made plenty a decade ago.

so, our midfield lacks a lot, as seen in napoli and atalanta matches in particular, how about against bayern munchen or man city or even olympiakos/ betis.  we cannnot strongly compete and go far with this midfield

btw, this is acmilan sleeping giant. if sixth place is fine with you etc. then keep what we have

Had you watched a Milan during ancelotti days? Do you any about it or about allegri Milan, real Milan? Etc. I am sure you hadn’t had

Get him for 15-20m is not a bad deal at all but not at the 30M arsenal got him for. Since Krunic can be sold to Torino then its not a bad deal at all.

Torreira wont come to be Bennacer's sub.

Yet, what made me laugh is calling Bennacer and Kessie the best midfield dui we had since 2010, knowing we had the likes of pirlo,gattuso,seedorf, van bommel there. Bennacer and Kessie are having all in all one not even complete season doing very well.

All the midfield(older ones) you mention except for Pirlo were pretty bad in the 2010s and idiots like Merkel, Emanuelson, Strasser were not even Genoa materials forget about Milan, Boateng was a two-season wonder for Milan, Flamini was meh kind of player.

Do you even understand the role of midfield in football? Pls do read about how 2 pivot midfield work, study a bit of Pioli tactics before writing off Benna and Kessie based on assists and Goals. Now, we all know that Liverpool is currently one of the best team in the world, how many goals did Liverpool midfielders have assisted? around just 10-15.

Carlo era in Milan is dead and dusted pls move on.
You repeatedly, talk about Napoli and Atlanta matches, have you watched Kessie-Benna pair against Roma, Lazio, Juve, Sassuolo and they still did quite great even against Napoli and Atlanta(Biglia played in that match)

Seedorf was finished player after 2009, Galliani just keeps dragging his ass till he becomes absolute shit.

One more thing is to be mention is that Serie A of 2020 and Serie A in the 2010s are two absolutely different levels, compare the teams and players of that time to now. Everything thing is far better except for refrees
