It looks like we're first trying to secure departures before making big moves. When I say "big", I don't mean expensive or famous names...but just in terms of players that will have big potential influence on the lineup.
Rodriguez is gone, but that leaves Theo and Laxalt at LB. So unless Laxalt leaves, nobody will come. It's the same across fhe board. We are well stacked in terms of numbers, with the only positions short on numbers being CM, ACM, and CF (depending on how Leao is used).
So if any "big" transfers happen currently, it'll be in 1 of those positions. The rest will only happen if we can sell players.
Just yesterday Calabria's new agent said that interest is there from manh clubs, but there is no rush for a transfer and he may remain. Conti apparantly was re-assured by the club. So I wouldn't be surprised if we start the season with Conti and Calabria as the RBs (along with Kalulu).
Btw, has Kalulu trained with the team already? I think his official announcement didn't come until after the season ended, but somehow i think I read that he practiced with the team prior to that. In any case, I wonder if he'll change the management's mind in terms of a real need at RB, if he impresses durong pre-season.

I would not be suprised, because Mladini was last year doing same things in silence, it could be true.

I haven't been very impressed by him to be honest. But I know he is very young (didn't realize he's only 20 )and seems to have untapped potential, so I'd concede that someone like him may be a good alternative off the bench up front. He's also capable of playing in multiple roles, so that's always a plus. The concern with Fiorentina is always the same though....their crazy demands.
I know we've been linked to and have been talking about Milenkovic + Chiesa deal.....but I'd be more interested in Vlahovic + Chiesa actually.
On Chiesa btw...not sure how he's more valuable to Fiorentina compared to what Bernardeschi was. Bernardeschi arguably showed more at Fiorentina and was even a part of a Viola squad that was in the EL with him being a big part of that and impressing in that competition. So of they sold Bernardeschi to Ladri for 40mip...how are they valuing Chiesa at 70? Makes no sense...

No. But that doesn't mean I can't loathe them.
U.S Pergolettese has announced through their social media the signing of AC Milan's primavera goalkeeper Matteo Soncin.
This will be his first professional experience.
The negotiations between AC Milan and Tottenham for Serge Aurier are complicated to close. (Mediaset) Motherf*ckers then go and get Dumfries instead, stop wasting time for these cases.
Forza Diavolo ale!!!

It's not wasting time. We have to stop acting like 5-10mil is not a big deal. To Milan, a club with revenue of barely 200mil, this is a big deal. Especially when there are options, as you mentioned (Dumfries, Emerson, Aurier). So jumping the gun is not the answer.
Also, don't forget that we currently have 2 RBs at the club + Kalulu who we've already signed (i don't think he'll be a Primavera player. I think he was brought in with the intention of using him, otherwise he wouldn't have signed and would have stayed at Lyon where he was "promised" a role in their senior squad next season).
So this makes it 3 RBs currently and signing another one would be irresponsible, in business sense.
Imo...negotiations haven't "slowed" down or "broken up" for any of those linked RBs. I wouldn't even be surprised if we've actually agreed a transfer with one of these clubs. The real issue is moving Conti/Calabria or both. And if we don't manage to do that, a transfer for one of Aurier/Dumfries/Emerson (or any other RB) may never materialize.
Time and time again (many times, years later) we find out how player X was close to moving to club Y and everything was agreed.....but a player in the same position at club Y refused to move or couldn't agree a move...so the transfer never went through. I think this is exactly what's hapenning. And the longer it goes without an actual transfer, the longer papers have to come up with reasons why. This week it's Aurier, due to demands and "complications". Next week it'll be Emerson because Barca won't budge on the price. The 3rd week it'll be Dumfries and so on. In the meantime, the only problem is Conti/Calabria, as always.
