That law is this way:
A) Not resident in Italy in the previous five fiscal years before the transfer;
B) Remain resident in Italy for at least two fiscal years;

You are right. Based on this new law, 50% of the player's salary will be exempt from taxation. The remaining 50% will be taxed at 43%. 

So if Ibra wants 7.5mil net, it'll cost Milan roughly 9.5mil in total. So I incorrectly calculated even more previously.

This new law is a big advantage and can allow us to us sign players from outside of Italy for a lot cheaper compared to other countries.

No. As Reza said, it's only for players that have not lived in Italy in the last 5 years.

I'm surprised the law isn't mentioned more by the media, because it gives Italian sides a significant advantage.
