Elliot gave OK for Toanli, even by enhancing the initial offer. In the meantime Inter offloaded Valero, so remains to be seen if they are going to go for him again.

Duarte and Musacchio as backups is ok but not great. As mentioned by nefremo above buying 10-15 million defender is pointless, and if we spend 30 or more on CD then what is the status of Kjaer? Unfair to make him back up from the start.

I wouldn't put my faith in Duarte and Musacchio. Unfair to Kjaer? We want the best team possible, don't we? If we want to fight for honours we need more competition for places.

I meant buying a 10-15 million player to start ahead of Kjaer from week 1. Unlikely to be an improvement. And to improve the team 40 million should not be on CD position.

After failing to sign Oblak, Onana, Dean Henderson, and Edouard Mendy, Chelsea continues to look for a goalkeeper. They've made contacts with Milan for Donnarumma and offered €55M. (TMW)

Cagliari would like to sign Davide Calabria. They offered €8M + €2M in bonuses. (AntoVitiello)

I see your point, but I think we need harder competition for places than what Duarte and Musacchio can offer. I have no idea how much we have to spend, but a CD worthy of rotation-status is needed as I see it.
