Let's wait and see. Raiola said that Donnarumma's contract will be discussed after the transfer market ends due to Milan having other priorities now (such as Ibra's renewal at the time).
We don't knkw who decided for the renewal talks to start when the market ends. It's a problem for me, because if we don't agree, we can't even sell him since the market will be shut.
At this point, best case scenario is to try and find a solution. Renew the contract (has to be at least 3 years so that we are not in this situation again next summer). Then sell him next season. It's absolutely insane for a club like us to currently be paying 6mil for a GK, let alone 8 or 10. Not when someone like Handanovic makes 4 (I think). and worst of all, Gigio's contract is an issur every summer. Raiola likes to talk shit about Milan yet he always gets what he wants. The fat fuk has made millions from this club and still is nasty enough to go in the media and leak information and talk shit.

Welcome! Any interesting J-League players? Japan has progressed so well on the international stage (I've been impressed with how they play in the international tournaments).

I think Donnarumma will resign for 7M+ bonuses.
I think one of the biggest reasons for having 3rd parties (agents) is the fact that they can discuss their players with whoever they want whenever they want. Juve just can't approach Donnarumma directly and offer a contract, etc. However the agents can discuss freely. As I said, i believe having agents for players is a plus due to this reason.

But footballers and other employees will always try to get the best deals they can.
Zlatan got whatever he asked for and nobody suggested throwing fake money at him.
Some people also praise Italy for having tax rules that make it favourable for players who would earn millions anyway to come to Serie A. The world is unfair.
Zlatan I think deserves every penny. His play and what he did for the other players confidence.
I think I'm one of the few on the site that doesn't hold Donna In such high regards, but I don't want lose him for free to a juve.
We should sign and sell him asap to foreign club with a clause if he is sold back to a seria a club we get 50%.

with him asking for 10m it means he is greedy.
That's just negotiation. You ask for 10, you end up getting 8. Let's see what happens. Donnarumma/Raiola have the upper hand.
If he does them dirty, they can put him on the bench for a season, then, Juve can have him as much as they want.
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.
Marco Sportiello's agent is in Casa Milan. They will also talk about Daniel Maldini, Sala and Colombo.
(Longo)
The intermediaries also represent Marcos Senesi (23 year-old Argentine centre-back of Feyenoord) and Vladyslav Supriaha (20 year-old Ukranian striker of Dynamo Kyiv). (Longo)
Go and sign both of them, esp. Senesi and Supriaha is next Shevchenko.
At Casa Milan, there is a meeting between Massara and intermediaries of Vitaliy Mykolenko (21 year-old Ukranian left back who plays for FC Dynamo Kyiv. (Longo)
Forza Diavolo ale!!!
Lyon heavily linked with paqueta. Get depay im exchange plus cash
A player we got for 38 less than 2 years ago going for 23 (rumoured amount). This is very important to fix.
It is good to see us getting players before they cost lots (Roback, Kalulu, Bjorklund etc).

I would be doing two things. Offering 8m for a long term deal (4/5 years) with no clauses... take it or leave it.
In the meantime I'd also be fishing around for any foreign clubs that may be Interested. See how much money we could get for selling him now with the 50% of any sale to an Italian club. I'd happily take only 30m if it meant he doesn't end up at Juve any time soon.
Gigio is good... but he's not 10m a season, asking for a payrise every second season, good.

Just the standard overpaying for players that MIGHT become top players.
Seems the club have smartened up in that regard. Look at the last 2 transfer windows... The only higher paid "risk" was Leao and he's proving to be a talent. Just needs more time.
Not to say we can't take risks, but save the large risks for other clubs. That's why I was fine with us not getting Everton. Likely another Gabigol/Paqueta and not so much a Neymar.
