But I think it confirms what we already know...the club is desperately searching for a CB. I think we can be 99% sure that one will arrive. The most likely options seem to be those that are avaiable on Loan+Option/Obligation. The truth is that in this economy, any one of those could be available on a paid loan + obligation. But Loan+Options are a bit tougher to come by obviously. I think we can forget about Fofana. Seems to be too expensive and too much competition. Milenkovic also.
The more likely options seem to be Nastasic, Nacho and Rudiger precisely because they seem to be available on a loan. Ajer as well, although that might have to be an outright buy. But at 15mil, the price for him is reasonable.
Other then that, I'm really hoping we get Hauge. That should complete our attack. I know we are technically missing an Ibra replacement, but adding Hague allows us to solely use Leao up top. Also Rebic can be used up there more often because of Hague. Let's not forget Colombo. He is young. Surely we can't jist rely on him to cover Ibra, but he can have some minutes and be useful. Ibra will wanna play almost every available minute anyway. So someone like Colombo is adequate enough for now.
That would be it for me. I wouldn't go for another CM right now. Our main goal should be to get Tonali up to speed. Bennacer, Kessie, Tonali and Krunic is good enough for now. Let's see how that works until January and address this department then if need be. Of course, if Krunic leaves, then we'll need to add a player to replace him and that'll hopefully be a player of higher quality then him, because at the moment Krunic is obviousoy the back up/joker option.
