He was unknown to me as well, as I haven't paid much attention to Norwegian football since moving abroad, but he looks like he definitely has the potential to be a top player. People on the Milan subreddit seem very enthusiastic about this transfer too. Exciting stuff!

One interesting fact is that Hauge started out as a futsal player, which they claim is the reason he's so good on the ball, particularly in tight spaces (very unusual for Scandinavian players).

There's been something going on with Hauge for quite a while. Already in 2016 as a 16 year old he played 20 matches in the Norwegian top division and was nominated for Best Young Talent of the Year award.
He has played 46 matches for Norwegian U15-U21 teams. The last couple of seasons the end product, goals and assists, have been very good too. Will be interesting to see how fast he will adapt to Serie A level if/when he arrives. He scored one of the goals in last years U20 World Cup match when Honduras were beaten 12-0 and Erling Haaland scored 9!

Oof, Massara shot down the Hauge rumours. "Right now there is nothing regarding this name, it is not even part of a department where we have great demands. At this moment talking about it is premature but if there are opportunities we will be ready. There are other priorities."

Massara's statement sounds strange after Romano's messages earlier. We'll see.
The transfer deadline is getting closer and we have got lots of work to do.
