Milan offer 15M+ important bonuses for Lionel Messi.
What's going on with Milan management. How much money do we want save? Is Gazidis building a Villa in Alps for himself from Suso and Paqueta sales?
Overpaying is bad but for the God sack No stupid club will accept such undervalued stupid money not even our personal bitch Genoa.
Forza Diavolo ale!!!
Wild guess, but I would think we're not spending everything we've made on player sales because we've lost, and will continue to lose, a lot of money due to covid.

Good guess in my opinion. Most clubs will have lost a lot of money due to covid-19, so we need to save where we can.
Looks like Schalke took Kabak off the market.
Our only hope seems to be Simakan. Or Rudiger, if he accepts a pay-cut or Chelsea will pay part of his wages.

17M
However, if he does well at Lyon then we might get that or more back with the 15% resale.
Anyway, Elliott should give us SOMETHING!
Milan offered €8m + €4m bonuses for Simakan, but was rejected. Strasbourg are holding out for at least €15-16m. I guess it should be possible to close a deal here unless other clubs join the race in the last minute.

There is very little cash flow in football at the moment for obvious reasons. Even clubs that had/have hundreds of millions in revenue more then us are not dishing out cash. Look at Juventus for example. They more or less are doing a "Tonali-like" structured deal for Chiesa. Inter as well. They paid what they paid early on for the likes of Hachimi, but has since been free/loan type of deals. EPL clubs are the only ones spending cash, but compared to what we've seen in the past, it's not much.
We knew that this market was going to be low sum and lots of loans/"swaps". This is exactly what we are seeing. Clubs won't just get rid of their players. They'll still want a fair value for them and if they don't get that they'll hold until next summer when the economy is likely (hopefully) to he better.
Also, not like we got all the sales money up front. Most deals are paid over several seasons/installments. Having said that, we're also likely to pay for our transfers over time and we probably still even owe money to Flamengo for Paq.
I see no problem in what Madini is doing. We don't overpay and clubs should know that. And with our scouting these days, we have a number of targets with what seems to be assigned values. If reports are true, we have some room in the budget as we (apparently) were offering 25 for Fofana, 15 for Kabak, etc. But that doesn't mean that we'll give Strasbourg 15+ for Simakan if we don't think he's worth it. This is a disciplined approach and I love it. I just hope that panic doesn't set in and we end up overpaying. No need for that. Romagnoli will be back after the break anyway.

Very true.
Except Atalanta just sold a Primavera kid who never played in Serie A to Man It's for 30M. Probably in installments, but we can't even sell junk like Halilovic, Laxalt or Conti.
Sidenote, Deufolou went to Udinese. A good signing for them.

Agree with this. It looks terrible now but it should be a good thing for Milan (in the future).
If we could not get a talented young CB to be our first backup, I hope we could land a better second choice for sub to replace Duarte and Musacchio. Someone like Yepes in the past (I know the quality of Yepes could make him our starter, the point is we have reliable sub).

No competitive game experience already costs 30 mil euros? How could Atalanta do that?
