I don't care about Dalot there are many better and cheaper back up LB than him but we should focus on permanent transfer of Diaz, the one which should be our first of priority.

Barcelona are in deep shit and one of the reasons Bartolemeu has resigned. They could face bankruptcy in January. Barca are the ones who are going to take the loss on him, a big one at that too. Same will happen with Dembele and Griezmann (if they’re sold). Milan, according to Maldini & Gazidis, still have funds remaining from the summer transfer window and are preparing for the January window. We don’t know how much we have available, but if the opportunity is there, we’ll certainly go for. Coutinho would be a mouth-watering idea for a loan + option, if we can get him for sensible wages without breaking our wage structure. I don't see how we are in better shape than any big team, including Barca. Yes they have unique issues with "flops" but Milan just reported 195 million loss. The summer savings Maldini has talked about is not more than 1 or 2 players total 40 million at most. Might even need to sell someone like Conti to make it 40 otherwise it's less. As one example, keeping Diaz will cost 25 very easily and his salary won't be low and it will be an urgent need if Calhanoglu leaves.

Because of pandemic FFP is almost postponed for 1 year, instead of summer 2021 needing better finances it is summer 2022.
Only regular CL and stadium will help Milan, until then we need smart deals like Theo buy and Suso sale.

Here are my solutions to the problem

-Don't buy that Dalot, he is decent but Man Utd wants 30M LOL. Buy some cheap LB option like Atalanta bought someone like Mojica for 2M
-Some people suggest here to buy another midfielder, I will hugely disagree, either have Pobega back next season to cut the price of buying a Mid
-Target free transfers and 'contract expiring next season or half' deals like that of Thauvin, Milik

These stupid Italians are themselves to blame for the mess that they have created over the years, Serie B clubs have negligible youth academies baring few. Horrible incompetent coaches with old fashioned mentality of hiring useless old shit players over the course of history. Pathetic scouting network, utter shit youth development.

Hallmark rule for small clubs to survive this era, is to focus on young players, scouting, giving them playing time and confidence doesn't matter how they perform initially and then sell them for decent sum. Italian clubs are doing completely opposite. If I compare them with BUndesliga2 and English 2nd Division they are miles behind them.
