probably the biggest sin was in your coach choice.  Icon_lol2

But, if we want to have cheap(er) depth, a club should have two options basically : (a) an experienced veteran or (b) a young player who's just not ready for first-team squad yet. Or go find somebody from lesser known leagues like Hauge (but Hauge also fits the description for b).

Considering the economics that the world faces today, with the money that reportedly Milan have (around 35m?), I'd rather we focus on CAM position. So either we focus on Diaz or get Szoboslzlai. It seems Maldini and co. are really hoping Madrid would talk and name their price. I'm not holding my breath on that front. I'd rather we focus on getting Szoboszlai immediately, given the known 25m release clause.

I think the other positions that require more immediate starting-level replacements are RW and Striker. RW is more urgent, but Saelemakers has been quite serviceable and Castillejo has scored a couple of goals lately and seems to be willing to accept the bench at least until the end of the season. If we could get Thauvin for cheap this summer for less than 10m, I'd say go for it, but if not we should wait and sign him for free. I also hope Maldini will take a look at Stengs from AZ Alkmaar, though I have no idea of his availability and valuation. And economic-wise, I'd rather spend nothing on getting Thauvin and focus all the money on CAM.

Rudiger I don't rate too highly, but if he's to be a stop-gap solution for at least 1-2 seasons I'm fine. My ideal dream for CB is still either Milenkovic and Simakan. But, we do have three starting CBs in the squad currently. When we qualify for CL next season is when we really need that 4th CB.

For sure. Just need to be smart about it. eg. Players that were promising but had a bad season in a new league. Players that have been very impressive in their leagues.
Cheap signings are always a risk so the best you can do is go for it and hope it works out.

"(a) an experienced veteran or (b) a young player who's just not ready for first-team squad yet."
(A) potentially holds a lower risk football wise but higher risk financially while (B) is the opposite, higher risk football wise lower risk financially.
Experienced players are lower risk on the pitch than Younger players but also come at higher wages and generally a higher cost. and if they don't work, likely won't get us back what was paid for them. eg. Sosa type signings. However younger players who haven't broken through yet may not break through but will obviously have a higher chance of making us money. Eg. Suso. No Matter how you see the guy(I don't rate him that well) he was bought for super cheap(only a few mil to get him mid season instead of on a free end of season from memory) and sold high because he looked decent.

Draxler would be decent.

For sure. See my comment higher up but pretty much youth purchases have a low chance of us losing money when they don't work out. That being said, Krunic was cheap enough that he shouldn't lose us any money either.

Mohamed Simakan, French defender of Strasbourg, is Milan's first goal to bolster the defense line in January, the sides are now close
I am from greece and i tell you about a pure talent Hristos Tzolis of PAOK FC .The player is very capable in his position and it takes the team with his goals and assists at the top of greek leauge ...he is only 18 years old and it seems capable for great things.i believe it would be a good transfer for millan and in a good economic terms since he is from greece...it worth to watch some games of him.frankly i believe he deserves a place to AC Millan team.Forza Millan !!!

Hristos Tzolis would have to first go through Primavera before breaking into senior squad but talking about Greece how good is Dimitrios Giannoulis of POAK, I heard a lot about him and clubs like Napoli and Atalanta were interested in him, I think he would be a great competitor for Theo.
Forza Diavolo ale!!!
Slleping Giant . Giannoulis is also a very capable player but he lucks in his defensive skills in my opinion ..in the other hand he is very good to his offensive skills ant takes all the side very well...i mean left side of the pitch.Gianoulis is important for his squad at the moment and it would be very expensive a possible transfer at winter time for any team.In my opinion he as tzolis it could be a good addition of promisives and good players ..i insist in Tzolis my friend i tell you he is a pure talent something unic in his play.

I think even Theo was considered as a defensive liability before joining Milan but after a year with Pioli, he has improved quite in that department I think Giannoilis would improve too. The problem with Tzolis that he is LW and we are already stacked here, can he play on right as well? or there is Tzolis like young RW in Greece because we have been shit at RW with Casteillejo.
Forza Diavolo ale!!!
i think LW is his best position . Yes in think a good coach can give something to gianoulis play . The tsimikas who signed to liverpool from olympiacos was at the same level with gianoulis but he got more game in europe at olympiacos in a beteer level .iI agree with you to keep the radar for Gianoullis and from AC Millan. Thanks for the conservation i have to leave the forum.

Should also give him good amount of playing time rather than rotting him on bench. He is very young, I prefer a bit older, someone above 21/22 years of age.
