agree, with him in a trident , we would be more aggressive towards the goal, distributing and alaso taking effective shots.

Scamacca is owned by Sassuolo, so Genoa getting relegated doesn't mean much in his case. Sassuolo has already said they want him back next season and want to keep him. Obviously, doesn't mean he can't be bought. It's just that the transfer fee won't be that cheap.

I don't know much (or anything outside of youtube actually) about Simakan. But if Maldini/Moncada want him, there's gotta be talent there. So I trust in them. Even at 15mil, he seems loke the best deal out there.
I've actually watched Schalke a couple times this season actually. I was not impressed with Kabak. Not bad at all. Physical, quick for his size, good on the ball. But I can totally see why Maldini wasn't willing to pay too much over the summer. He's got some way to go.

Papu...obviously a great player. I'm not worried about his age actually. He seems to be a "(super) late bloomer" and appears to be in the best moment of his career. He would definitely come in handy. Does he represent a real need for us? No. He doesn't. We have enough attacking mids/wings. As a matter of fact, if anything, we could take more quality on the right, but Papu doesn't play there anyway. Still, even though everything I just said points towards "not needed", if this is an opportunity to take him for "free" or some super low sum, it's definitely enticing. Especially if we are serious about mounting a challenge for the Scudetto. Also, as talented as Diaz is, we don't know what will happen with him in the summer. So Papu is a luxury, yes. But the teams that win titles usually have these "luxuries". The more weapons you have, the better.

Papu Gomez reminds me of Totti or Del Piero, sort of a hybrid of classic number 10 and second striker. He will be a great signing.

But since he often plays mainly from the centre or the left, the one player he's more likely going to displace I think is Calhanoglu instead of Castillejo/Saelemakers on the right.

Haaland's agent is Raiola. He earns €8 million gross per season at Dortmund, so maybe approx €4.5 million net. I'm pretty sure Raiola would want to at least double or triple that in his next move. And then there's the €75 million release clause which is activated in 2022.

I think we would look elsewhere...

What was that thing which caused rift between Papu and Gasperini? I read that he got enraged after Gasperini subbed him off at HT during their match against Midytylland. If that's true then there is serious concern about attitude problems that he will be coming in Milan and that can well also might cause dressing room problem here too... Otherwise I will happily take him.

A good and creative CAM can even make average strikers look good.

It looks like today's meeting with Hakan's agent was: Milan offer 3.5, he asks for 5 with further meeting planned in "coming weeks". Replacing him will be more expensive than paying him, I hope replacement plans are in motion in case Hakan gets a pre-contract offer from another team.

Agree with taking Belotti. Still can't get over that amazing season he had, I was watching him and reminded me of Sheva a little. I think with the right motivation we could revive that form easily.

That being said, Haaland is definitely the top choice but it depends on finances.

Gomez is a terrific player but a sore loser and bad attitude.
