The whole reason we were top of the table (until 5 days ago) WAS our bench and depth. People criticize it...but with so many injuries, what more do we expect from our bench? They kept us on top. It is now time for our starters to get back in form and see out the rest of the season.

This! We've been saying all season, we're on top with so many players out... well... everyones back. Now it's time to knuckle down and show the league what we're made of.

The concern here is, sure we have all the guys back now, but what kind of condition are they really in right now? Take Bennacer for example, the guy hasn't played in like a couple of months and might take a month just to get his conditioning and timing back. By that time, with the way Inter is playing, we are probably a good 6 points behind them in the standings already. I honestly think our bench has held together better than i thought, but this team looks like they are running on fumes these days and they don't have any solutions other than to pray on starters getting back to their best soon. We should've done better in the Jan mercato, but all we got are bench warmers who won't make any impact to our season. The lack of willingness to double down on a season that started so well is disheartening and Maldini better hope the team doesn't collapse toward the end and miss out on CL. His head might be on the line if that were to happen.

Why is a 2 month injury requiring 1 month to get back to form? The schedule doesn't allow for proper healing yes but fans were mentioning Romagnoli injury in January when he had come back in November. Can't really call that valid.
Having not good enough backups is normal, Milan can't yet have the budget for that, don't think it's realistic to expect Maldini to go out in January and spend lots.
