I would prefer D'ambrosio over Laxalt, Conti, Dalot. Solid squad player who can cover LB, RB and if needed CB. Might work out similar to Favilli. 
Of course I'd prefer other's (Hysaj for example) but he is not awful should he come.

Calabria has proven to be a solid 1st option at RB. So we need a back up/rotation. I was hoping the club would entrust that position to Kalulu and utilize him more and more since he is improving in every game, imo. So from that point of view, I don't know that I see the need for D'Ambrosio.

Having said that, if I was to look at it from Maldini's/Pioli's perspective....it may not be such a bad idea to have an experienced player like D'Ambrosio behind Calabria as not sure that we can fully trust Kalulu if needed in some CL games (assuming we get there).

Either way, I'm not opposed to this per say...but I do wonder what it means for Kalulu. I guess the question becomes...are people comfortable with a RB department of Calabria and Kalulu?
