Well ,I guess it's hard to gave up when this could be the reason why they even bought club at first place. I guess Berlusconi is relieved. Must be eating his own guts this past few days for selling club. Galliani as well. Could bought all Genoa players with 3 billions with Zaza nad Pepe as bonus.

The clubs signed binding agreements, but it seems starting the ESL was the condition. The question now is if they’ll have to pay to get out since the league hasn’t started yet. ACM statement is carefully crafted to appease both sides, ESL and UEFA.

Those statements are questionable. In terms of what they signed. It was explained in some text about Barcelona ,cause of specific club statute ,which means they can not do what they did untill all owners agree (fans are amongst them, so Barcelona can not join SL untill fan owners (and all others) approve it. Considering they were never asked ,it raises questions what Barcelona signed and how they even intended to be part of it.

Captains are the last one that jump the ships as they go down. I feel that Milan is trying to create an image among the peers that we are the true leaders. Seriously though, what is the difference between being the 8th to leave and 9th to leave? Nothing. The ESL isn't happening, so we may as well minimize the damage and maximize the gain (however little or pathetic that may be). In the future when a newer edition (ESL4R--European Super League For Real ) happened again, we should have more power among the peer clubs. BM and PSG will be sent to the kiddie table for their betrayal this time around. I seriously believed (and still do) that BM was just watching to see how everything unfolds, and then they would win either way (ESL happens, they are invited; ESL doesn't happen, they have a "clean" image.) I wonder if that allows UEFA to see the vulnerability of this whole attempt, collectively.
I don't personally believe the rumor that UEFA paid/bribed EPL clubs and punish the Italian and Spanish sides (I think they will pay/bribe everyone). I don't think that's why they quitted first. They are just less desperate financially. Out of all 12 teams, we are the most desperate one. EPL/RM/Barcelona have money anyway; Juventus is pretty much in that same boat with stadium/TV/CL; Inter is better than we are; I don't know much about ATM, but we have more prestige, so relatively speaking we would be the one that benefit the most from this coup. I wasn't supporting ESL; nor did I believe that it would happen, but I was hoping that the fight would last longer, for the benefit of our club and for football in general (I elaborated my thought in a previous post). I guess I miscalculated as well.
The only true winner, other than UEFA, is Reza. We have seen the traffic on MM suddenly increase due to this chaos, and that is sufficient ground to suspect if Reza may have done something behind the scene. UEFA should launch an investigation regarding Reza's role in this matter.

Reza started and finished the ESL project, just to make MM more frequent

Our boys went both in and out like a silent fart. True Ninja stuff.
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.
