Summer mercato 2021
if i was hakan, i would take the deal, no way in hell he could get that kind of deal anymore
sportively Hakan is a finished player, has his limits and cannot be more than a slightly better version of Honda... so my dear Kebap take this offer and f... off

?? Calhanoglu have received an important offer from Qatari club Al Duhail: Three-year deal worth €8M/season in addition to €8M on-signing payment. The Qatari club will meet Hakan’s agent next week to discuss the offer

Hakan is such a weird player for us to handle. His talent level is somewhere between average starter and above average starter, which is the hardest intersection to handle. You can't pay him like a star because he isn't; you can't pay him like a squad player because someone else will pay him more than that. My ideal scenario with him is that we sign him for a multi year contract and then sell him a year into it. You don't want to lose him for nothing but paying him 5M a year will just handicap our team moving forward.
Good go you useless Cuckold! Don't you extend with this club again, useless #110 never mind #10!
He was pretty mediocre in Bundesliga. Dont know what Mirabelli saw in him, knowing his competence he probably bought Hakan off a YouTube video.
Calhanoglu is painfully average. A few good performances don't make you an above average player. Good players are good MOST of the time, not SOME of the time or very few times.

Having him as our dedicated #10 has been a major downfall of this squad. I'm hoping he won't renew.

As for the remainder of our transfer market, I'm not interested much in Belotti nor the Fiorentina boy (forgot his name now). They both don't impress me, the Fiorentina guy gives me nightmares of Piatek. The only reason we're even considering Belotti is based on one great season he had. If he didn't have that season he'd be no more important than a player like Destro

That being said, I don't mind Belotti if he comes on the cheap. I wouldn't pay more than 20m for him TBH. 34 games and 13 goals is hardly something to spend $ on.

De Paul is a player we should snap up ASAP. His energy and dynamism will help this team a lot.

All that shows is that we've got a young squad not that that young squad is being used.

I'm a fan of Belotti. He doesn't score more because he doesn't have the support.
I think he'd be a good pick up if we got him. RDP is a machine so would be an amazing pickup but all comes down to what cost

True & fair point, it really depends (same with RDP) on what price. Cairo wanted some 100m or crazy figure for him. I'm certain those demands have significantly lowered, but how much is the question. Anything more than 30m is overpaying Imo

Last I heard was 30m. 30m for me is still a little high but surely we could come up with some kind of deal. 15m plus someone like Pobega? Belotti's contract ends 2022 so Cairo can't be too much of a prick. Only downside is Roma are also after him but given the choice Belotti would choose us over Roma.

Same thing as RDP. they want 40m apparently but surely we could come to some agreement. Send them Caldara and Conti for a discount on the 40m.
