Summer mercato 2021

I think we'll sign him and I have no problem with that. We have to use him to the best of his ability. He's a good player, but he's not a Pirlo and he's not a Gattuso (in style or ability). He's an all-around midfielder. Honestly, he's like your typical 1990s/2000s English CM. Gets stuck in, keeps the ball moving, keeps himself moving both attacking and defensive wise, plays both phases of the game. Not to attach another comparison to him....but he's like a Steven Gerrard type of player.

Well put  Okmilan

.

Milan is about to include three free deals and it is about hysaj of Naples, D'Ambrosio Inter Milan, and Olivier Giroud of Chelsea FC.

3 good depth signings. Add Ilicic to that and we've improved depth massively from last season.

In a way he had a similar season to Hauge, though Hauge's Milan career got off to a much better start. I think they just need to spend more time at the club and become accustomed to the pressure and expectations at the club. Both will probably be excellent players in a season or two.

100% just need some patience. we can't bring in young players like that and just expect them to do great from day dot. They need time to develop and grow and get used to the pressures of playing for a big club.
What are your thoughts on Leao guys? Just curious lol. Header your post with Buy/Sell and then explain why Smile

just to be a pain in the ass....

Depends.
I still think I'd keep him but the only way that works is if we're playing him on the left which means rotating between him and Rebic.
That would mean needing to loan out Hauge.

That being said. I wouldn't be opposed to selling him for the right price. I mean if someone comes along with 35m then that's 35m we could directly reinvest in a much needed top CAM.

Exactly. Sell him for 35m. Keep hauge to rotate with rebic. Buy a quality CAM
AC MILAN
I wonder if Demebele would be available and what Barca would ask?

Barca are cash strapped and he has only a season left on his contract.
That being said, Chelsea are after him and he played his best football under Tuchel so if push comes to shove, I think he'd choose there over us.
I'd go for Trincao. Hasn't had enouhg chances to shine there and is a talent. Give them Roma plus some cash and bring him in to play RW.

I would keep Leao if we do not need the money. He has proven to be useful on occasions. If we need the money to bring in a replacement for Hakan then sell him by all means. We can get 35-40m for him from those English clubs.
Assuming we have around 100m transfer budget since we always usually spend around 50-60m and we qualified for CL this time around, I know around 40-50m will be gone toward Tonali + Tomori if we take both.

If we buy De Paul let's say (or someone of his quality) for around 35m, we already spent 15m on Maignan. There goes the 100m.

Then we have some opportunities. If Hakan leaves, we can bring in Ilicic free. We can also sign Giroud free with Mandzukic leaving.

This is a decent mercato and we haven't sold Castillejo(7-10m) yet, we haven't sold Leao (30m) yet and we haven't sold Romagnoli (35-40m).

All things considered we could have a juicy mercato if we move our pieces around correctly Wink

He has scored 10 goals in 1000mins in UCL and Premier league. 4m is ok for that, no transfer fees involved.
