Leao was abysmal for the Portugal U-21s showing little interest or desire, slammed by the Portuguese fans as well. The 25m spent on him seems to be money down the drain.

On Hakan...I wanted a better attacking mid. I'm not happy with him and for me, he's been average in most games...poor in some, good in some. If we do extend his contract, then I guess the positive is that we would have more room to invest in a RW. At that point we should go all out for a top class RW.

If Hakan stays, I am happy, because that means that we wouldn't need to search high and low for a quality backup. The salary (4m) seems way too high though.

Leao should probably go. This is the summer we can probably get 25-30 for him "due to youth". If he has another shit season next year, nobody will wanna touch him...and he'll likely start getting the "loan + option" treatment.

He looks like he's got zero motivation half the time. "Presses" by jogging but with zero belief that he'll win the ball..and therefore never ever puts the opposing player that has the ball under any kind of difficulty. And now, what's worst of it all, he's become bad on the ball as well.
I saw the U21 final, and was disgusted by his performance. No wonder he rotted on the bench the entire tournament and was the substitute of a Serie B player (Monza of all places).

I would be tempted to sell now because he still has some value but longer term can anybody really see him turning into anything beyond average?

Balotelli could afford to jog around cause he had a killer shot and could take good free kicks, Leao has neither and gives the impression he would rather be anywhere else than the football pitch.

Certainly living up to his dollar name. Simply whoring after money despite having achieved or won nothing.

Barca and Juve were never really interested, nor any of the major clubs. Beyond Milan fans nobody really rates $rumma, he makes glaring errors and is awful with the ball at his feet hence going off to play in a the second tier of European leagues.

A little bit, but given the amount of trouble we've had with him and Raiola I think it was better to let him go. I appreciate how classy Milan have acted though. Maldini and Gazidis have both talked about him in very respectful ways, even though the club sent a strong signal by buying Maignan before Donnarumma's contract was up. It's almost like they've understood that it's his agent who's actually running the show...
