So, if that story is reliable, I'm very happy that we seem to be ahead of the competition.
Those "journalists" know that so they can make it up at will. Next time it is going to be Atalanta, Porto, Ajax.

I know. It's a good bait.
Btw, some Tonali news...
Milan have practically reached a new agreement with Brescia for Tonali. The new agreement for the redemption for €10M+€5M bonus. The whole deal is now worth €25M instead of €35M
In return, Milan will send Primavera midfielder Giacomo Olzer on permanent basis while holding a buy back option
@DiMarzio
This is a good deal. In the old deal, we paid 10M last summer and we were still to pay 15M + 10M potential bonus (total of 35M including bonuses). So essentially a 10M "discount", although we lose Olzer, who's apparently very talented and has been a bright spot for our Primavera this past season. The good thing is we're retaining a buy-back option.
Why Olzer, should be Brescianni
Forza Diavolo ale!!!
Olzer had a good season with the primavera, or am i mistaken?

I think so. From what I've heard he was our best player. 10 goals in 18 matches too. Anyway, good to have a buy-back option.

According to Di Marzio Brescianini will have a medical on Thursday before going on loan to Monza.

Yeah, easy worth 60m without batting an eye and we don't want to sell so why not push for more. I mean look at the figures being thrown out for average players in the EPL. Why cant' we do the same for players who are at least in form.

That would be good. not the Covid but the AFCON being cancelled bit.

Rafael Leao has often disappointed so much so that Maldini has more than a doubt. The club is thinking of a solution with the blessing of Pioli, Leao could play somewhere else next season on loan. He needs continuity to grow without too much pressure. [TS]
I read he was benched for the U21 match. Leao was behind a Monza player and 1-2 Benfica bench warmers. He should be loaned 100% and sold if we get a good offer.
a Leao loan would be good. There's more to his performances for Portugal.
when push comes to shove, there seems to be favorites within the team. and it seems playing for some teams means more than playing for others.
Doesn't excuse his attitude though. Should be fighting harder to prove the coach right rather than coming out and not working hard enough.
I feel like there's a bit of that at Milan. He has the talent, and seemed to have the will earlier in the season, but as the season has gone on, he seems to have become lazier.

I mean, why are they throwing money at Donnarumma? 1st of all, they don't need a GK. 2nd of all, they have zero competition for him, so why are you overpaying? It's not like you have to outbid anyone.
It looks like it's someone's wet dream over there to have Donnarumma as their GK so they'll just burn money to have him.
It pisses me off that we got in trouble with UEFA for overspending, yet these assholes inflate their own sponsorships. Their revenue quadrupled almost over night. Nothing is in line with the fair market value. YET, nothing ever happens to them. And they keep doing it. And then UEFA talks about equality and the football pyramid that has to be so well preserved.
And fuck Leonardo. That little bitch could never do anything without money anyway. Came to Milan and spent a shit ton on Higuain, Paqueta, Piatek, Caldara. Why is he even considered this "great" sporting director. Anyone can play Football Manager. That's exactly what he's doing.
And there is a lot more where that's coming from. I bet this is just lining Raiola's pockets for what's to come...and that's likely Haaland. The fat bastard probably already has the deal lined up. And there is 1 team out there that will completely disrespect ANY rules. So he makes the deal with them because he knows that in the current climate nobody else can sign Haaland.
But, PSG is UEFA's little pet. All those assholes probably got a fat check anyway. It was no surprise when PSG lined up with UEFA against the Super League. Such irony to hear them talk about equality. It literally makes me sick to my stomach. Disgusting club with disgusting ownership!
He's not even doing that good of a job. They've exploited all the loop holes, done plenty of dodgy business, have the protection from UEFA, and still didn't win the league or UCL.
If I can win UCL with Sporting in FM then that shithead should easily be able to win things with P$G. But he's not even that good WITH all the money

This is a really good move. The buy back clause is key. It is the type of deal we always talk about management making but never do.
How many successful *for Milan* attacking player have we had from our primavera? While it is very important to have a good youth system it is also important to use them well, getting Tonali is a good move, better than a forward that never plays for us and leaves us for free for example.

Yep. these are the sorts of guys we want to be competing against because they're the sorts of approaches that have been successful and sustainable.

It's a great deal. further proof that Maldini is doing a good job. Also means although we "lose" Olzer, if he breaks through we can get him back

Probably because Brescianini was average on loan last season and Olzer looks a proper talent. Of course he could end up the same way when thrown into a senior team but who knows.
Further reason to have an u23 squad of our own to have these talented youngsters playing against men week in week out
