“Everything came quickly, I almost didn’t enjoy it and for this reason the moment of farewell to Milan was heavy, a real disappointment. I had lost faith in myself and I found it thanks to Sassuolo.”

“I thought I had to play all the time, instead I found myself on the bench, often after being scolded in training. I didn’t understand that the problem was me, not the coach.”
It was not 100% Milan's mistake. He was not happy, Bakayoko came and Locatelli wanted more playing time.

He was not happy because he couldn't handle the high expectations and pressure that followed his bright start and especially after that Juve goal where everyone suddenly was thinking he was the next big thing over night.

He was never unhappy with Milan as a club. He was here for 10 years, he was devastated that he had to leave. I don't interpret anything in those links as criticizing Milan or, as mazen suggests, that he felt was bigger than the club. I think that is a huge misunderstanding if one reads it like that.

I think we interpret this in a totally different way. I don't see him criticizing Milan or saying he's bigger than the club. He blames himself because he couldn't handle the pressure and expectations. So he lost faith in himself. Just read the last sentence, he says the problem was himself but he didn't see it at the time.

It can be interpreted easily against milan

btw, Gattuso will leave Fiorentina 20 days after being appointed as Viola coach.
Milan's option to buy Tonali has expired. Yet they keep negotiating because Tonali wants Milan stay. If I was Cellino I would just back out and say: "We agreed on a price a year ago, you pay or we sell him to the highest bidder." And they already got €10m from us on top of that... Hopefully they'll find an agreement though.

I guess we have to agree to disagree.

Since when...?
MILAN! MILAN! SOLO CON TE!
MILAN! MILAN! SEMPRE PER TE!
Here is the thing about Milan youth players. In a team like this, talented youngsters wouldn't really have the room to grow and develop, and in all honesty they pretty much have to go somewhere else to become the star that they can become. Take Aubameyang, for example. When he was at Milan, he had to go against the likes of Sheva, Pippo, Crespo, Vieri, Tomasson and others for playing time. Even if Milan values him extremely highly, how do we find playing time for him really? With the pressure of winning trophies, playing in CL or at least qualify for CL, we simply could not find the room and playing time for a young player.
