Summer mercato 2021
Industrial player with decent technique that operates in the further half of the midfield. That's what I see from Pessina. It's actually a like for like (in terms of what Pioli looks for in that position) replacement of Hakan. Pioli prefers more or a midfielder type player rather then a pure ACM/playmaker/attacker player in that position.
Having said that, I don't think he has the needed quality if we wanna fight at the top. Having him here for 10M is a no brainer. I don't think anyone can argue there. But we'd still need another player of higher quality.

On Cutrone, since he was mentioned a few pages ago....I absolutely don't mind having him back as a 3rd choice CF. When we need a goal, he'd be a good option to bring in at the 75th/80th minute and occupy the box, be a pacher, etc. If used in that way, we can get good output out if him. He just has to understand that and be ok with that. Because he used to get irritated and beibg substituted or not used enough. By now, he should be aware that he's not good enough to be a starter at a top club...hiwever he can still be useful at a top club if utilized correctly. That, and he's a Milanista. Lives the club and will fight to the death on the field. Can't buy that part.
any one seeing the brasilian league this days? bragantino is topping the charts, there should be some good players over there if they manages to top the league, claudinho looks like an interesting prospect
Pessina should definitely be bought back if there's some sort of prearranged discount.
Belgium v Portugal is rather dry.

Not impressed with the quality of the Euros. Mostly average teams playing mediocre football.
Unlucky Portugal.

Belgium squeezed through but did nothing apart from the goal.
Just buy Sanches at all costs. He could be immense. A complete midfielder in all aspects. If he could stay away from injuries he is a world class talent. A midfield with Kessie, Sanches, Bennacer and Bakayoko/Tonali will be a perfect mix. We have the same owners, Lille and Milan, so maybe some discount?

PS: Dalot from the start for Portugal. Based on this match he is a no buy. He was not really poor, but he is just to unstable, and do really silly mistakes.

You needed this match to understand that? [emoji16]. I arrived at that conclusion after his first 5 matches for us.
I'll take Pessina, but definitely would not consider Belotti nor Berardi. I'm not sure how Berardi gets a starting place over Chiesa in this Italy squad but I highly doubt he'll see the field over Chiesa against Belgium. He has been predictable, ineffective and simply lacking in final product.

Belotti is very unimpressive - he works hard but that is pretty well it. He will be another frustration like Piatek.

We need better Smile

Sanches dribbling is impressive and he was brilliant on occasions but his inexperience cost some opportunities, albeit ones he opened up for himself to begin with. He's still young, despite his name being around for quite some time now. I think he needs some refinement in his final product and then I'd agree - he will be a solid player.

It's how he takes the next step which will be key.
