Talks are going well between James Rodriguez and Milan. He will sign for a period of three years with a salary of 6 million euros. He has one year left on his Everton contract and Milan will pay around €10m to sign him

The deal that will see James Rodriguez join Milan is about to be concluded. 
So based on rumors....
1)James replacing Hakan. 2) Diaz staying. 3) Mandzukic out...Giroud in? Based on that, we'll have surely improved our attacking line with James/Giroud instead of Hakan/Mandzukic....but for me, I don't think it's enough. Pioli himself said that based on the "data gathered", we're not good enough in 1v1 situations....yet James and Giroud don't improve that aspect whatsoever. Btw...hope James rumors are incorrect. Can't help but feel this guy's entire career is based on 10 WC matches. It's insane how overrated he is....all due to WC appearances and nothing in the 4 years in-between. Let him go somewhere else and make 6M. Don't let him take that shit from Milan. Not when we're being extra careful in negotiating deals with our own players who have actually done something for use.

James Rodriguez to Milan apparently a done deal. Transfer fee undisclosed but it's said that it's in the 10-15m range.
Contract for 3 years worth 15m+3m in bonuses (1m per season based on performance). So essentially 5m+1m in bonus per year. I mean, I'd much rather pay James Rodriguez 5m per season instead of that stupid Hakan. Just we are paying a transfer fee while Hakan left for free. Apparently Coutinho for 35m paid in instalments is still on the cards even after the James signing. Well we certainly won't be short of big names for next season Priority for midfield will be Pessina + Bakayoko. Agreement close to being reached for Giroud+Yoko with Chelsea. Pessina will be negotiated after the Euro. Another rumour is that we are open to selling Leao, with Adli already lined up to replace him for much cheaper figure.

MilanNews journalist Antonio Vitiello is considered to be one of the most reliable when it comes to Milan. He confirmed James Rodriguez has been proposed to the club by Jorge Mendes and they are likely evaluating the opportunity to sign him. But he also said there were no ongoing negotiations, which means the player is not close to the club...

But not gonna complain. Big risk with those 2 though....considering their salary and injury history. Bakayoko, I can see. Because he would complete the 4 man midfield (Kessie, Bennacer, Tonali, Yoko). But if we sign James and Coutinho....where does Pessina fit? All in all, if we manage to do all of what you said....there is no question we'd be a better team.
