Meh, Doku comes here and he will be like Leao, Niang, Hauge, Locatelli. Young guy's coming to Milan is often a non-event except an exhibition on how we have a history of not exploiting such talent.
BTW, Calabria would of pocketed Doku.

First, agree.
Second, Diaz fills in when James isn't fit or needs a break.
Three, James with one leg is a x10 upgrade on Hakan.
Kessie deserves around 4.5-5M. He was immense this season but before he could easily of been sold. Same with Calabria. Neither had been consistent until this year.
James has been pretty solid at Munich and Everton.
But like I said, he is not my #1 choice.

I know, I've had that same injury. Was playing football indoors and then just heard a loud snap and looked back to see who was tackling me, but there was nobody there. 
Anyway, there are different grades of this injury as well. The fastest recovery I've heard of in top professional football was Axel Witsel who was back for the Euros now after being out for just over 5 months. David Beckham was out for 6 months after his achilles tendon rupture while playing for Milan in 2010, but I've also heard of players being out for up to 9-12 months and some even not returning to their previous best levels at all.
Too bad for Italy in this tournament though, Spinazzola has been very good and they're on a roll!
Now we even want to reduce Tonali's €1.6m salary... Do we really want this guy or not?!
This whole Tonali thing has turned into a farce. What are we trying to do, save another 200K a year from his wage? What good is that going to do? Are we going to break even because of this? If we don't want the guy, then just don't sign him. This kind of slime ball negotiation tactics is going to turn us into a joke in future negotiations with other teams and players.
CdS -Today's edition of il Corriere dello Sport confirms that Milan have identified Sabitzer as the man who could take the No.10 shirt, because the Austrian is a profile capable of playing both as an attacking midfielder and even as a winger if needed. Last season he amassed 9 goals and 7 assists in 39 appearances, showing he can contribute to the attack reliably.
Interestingly, Ralf Rangnick had indicated him as a target to Milan when in 2020 he seemed destined to take over from Stefano Pioli on the bench. Sabitzer also attracts Pioli, Maldini and Massara because he will not renew his contract with Leipzig and can leave for less than 20m.
If he's really available for that price, we MUST get him.

According to @Gazzetta_it Tonali salary is more of a "political" value.
Not for the specific savings, but a message to the locker room.
If Tonali agrees to a lower wage, it would be an example for the other players, starting with those who have contracts that are about to expire
