Isco is a talented talented player, but I don't know if Pioli would want someone like him. Pioli wants a guy who can defend and run his butt off for his CAM role. That's why he loved Hakan so much. Isco is a very technical player but he is not going to run around the field making interceptions, he simply doesn't have the lungs and legs to do that. Signing a guy like him or James would mean Pioli has to change our playing style.

100% agree. Someone pike Isco adds to the team from a technical point of view. But from a physical standpoint, things will need to change. That and like you said, the setup itself will have to change. Not necessarily the formation, but the some of the roles within it and more specifically the expectations regarding movements for certain players.

As an example, we can't have 3 players (Kessie, Bennacer, Isco) in a triangle playing short passes. Sure, we'll likely have possession for ages, but it'll be stale. There wil be no midfield runs into the box, etc. 

Then, the defensive phase will be its own issue.

Point being, although Isco is a great player individually...we can't expect to replace Hakan with him and continue with the same style and movements. Might as well save our money then because ot'll likely end in disappointment.

I would of loved Isco 3 years ago, but he is broken,  fat and useless now. Plus, if those numbers are true he is obviously pricing himself out of a move here and 95% of other clubs.

Milan and Juventus are keeping a close eye on the growing split between Luis Alberto and Lazio, proposing Alessio Romagnoli or Federico Bernardeschi in exchange.

Roma+ cash. Alberto is worth more than just Romagnoli.

I think we will try for Berardi towards the end of the window. 
One thing is,  Samu is out of his depth at Milan. But I think he would do well at a club like Sassuolo,  Fiorentina or Torino. Pity he probably wouldn't go to one of those clubs.
