I agree that Roma has to want to stay and fight for a spot and keep his salary reasonable. With that said, Kjaer is old and the next up Gabbia is too young still. Honestly, Kjaer coming off all these shortened seasons (COVID, euros) is just going to be at risk for injury. CL games are not throw away games like EL. More intense and demanding. We need top quality depth.

If anything, Coutinho fulfills 'loan is better idea' more than most of the loans we have done, injury history being at least one reason. Based on financial reasons and may be even footballing reasons paying money plus and Romagnoli is too expensive. Also, Coutinho is not a young player anymore.

I can't base that on non existing rumors considering there are many rumors surrounding Luis Alberto, Coutinho, Sabitzer and Tadic. I Ultimately think none of those will come but, given the option, would love for us to sign LA.

We need top quality depth. Yeah. Trying to play Serie A and UCL with Tomori and Kjaer as starters and Gabbia/Caldara/Kalulu as backups is asking for trouble. We need to rely on Kjaer playing all those games without injury. Gabbia and Kalulu are hardly ready to start for a UCL team and Caldara is made of glass. Despite the fact Roma only has a year left on his contract. Roma Plus $$ is a little expensive for Coutinho. Especially given the large wage he'd be asking for. Juventus have secured teenage Norwegian talent Elias Solberg after it’s reported they told him he could follow in the footsteps of Erling-Braut Haaland.
Solberg plays on the right side of midfield and is a product of the Ullensaker/Kisa academy. The reporter maintains Milan had also been interested and Solberg met with director Paolo Maldini. No Norwegian talent will join Milan after the treatment of Hauge.
