I don't disagree with that at all.
Which is why I don't think we should buy just to buy. Instead, maybe a loan deal will be fine for this coming season. Yes, we'll have to pay the salary, but it's better then overpaying and committing to a 4-5 year deal. This is why I suggested Coutinho. I'm not a fan of James at all. But even him on loan would be fine then starting the season with jist Diaz in the ranks when it comes to an ACM.

Yes. It could be for sure. I'd like to see that. But we've never tried him there. That doesn't seem like something Pioli would do. He'll likely switch to a 442 before doing something like that.

Yacine adil seem like a done deal, a skilful player. He seem like an ideal alternative to Diaz, not sure he is a good fit for our double pivot role. Diaz played as a RW for Spain U21 and seem quite decent in that role.

We need to get rid of Samu, Kunic and Conti. Nobody want to pay anything for them.
