In all honesty, if I could choose a midfield for Italy, it'd probably be something like...

Marchisio---De Rossi---Nocerino
--------------Pirlo----------------

I'd absoloutely love Marchisio in our team, as he's always been a good midfielder and this season is well on his way to becoming world class.

I don't think I want Pirlo back any more. As for Marchisio, it is even less realistic than De Rossi. If we didn't get him this past summer, I doubt that we now stand any chance when he is on fire.

I can't help but wondering how probable it was this past summer for us to get Marchisio.

Sorry I think you misunderstood. I meant that's the sort of midfield I'd go for in Prandelli's shoes when looking to choose for the Italian national side.

I did misunderstand your point. We do think alike though in that we both want Marchisio. He has turned into a great player for Juventus, and other than that he plays for the wrong side, I actually enjoy watching him play.

I'd like montolivo in for one of marchisio or nocerino.he will add more skill than running to the squad,It's more balanced.

I kinda feel relaxed recently and think that Galliani has the strings in his hands and that we can trust him to make a couple of good moves. If that means, Maxi Lopez, so be it.
