Will happen again with other players.

I can't see anyone paying €20m for him in January, maybe €5-10m at best. And definitely not if he continues to as €8-9m per season...
Reports in Portugal say we have rekindled our interest in signing Darwin Nunez from Benfica. He's had a great start to the season and also scored two goals against Barcelona this week, although he should have scored a couple more...

Pass. Players in Portugal tend to be overhyped and overpriced. Poor quality league so no real indicator will do well in a tougher environment.
Saachi:

“Maybe Kessie doesn’t perform as he did last year due to a contractual problem: if so, either the agreement is defined or the player is left out of the team.”
While Romain Faivre continues to impress at Brest, AC Milan are planning a fresh swoop in the January transfer window, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com reports that Faivre has had a great start to the Ligue 1 season with 2 goals and 3 assists already to his name, playing both as a more traditional central midfielder, an attacking midfielder and on both wings.

The report adds that Faivre would like to join Milan in January having been close to doing so over the summer. The 23-year-old’s entourage have remained in talks with sporting director Ricky Massara, and the stage is set for negotiations to recommence.
Milan will redeem Brahim for the 19m (3m already paid) as they consider him a key player to build around. It hasn?t been said when RMs buy back is, but most likely not the same summer where we redeem him. Details haven?t been disclosed yet.

As for Kessie, Milan are working on Kamara from OM either in winter or on a free as a potential replacement. We were already very interested last summer
Kessie should be impeached since he "Presidente ". Started as Mandela, now he is Mugabe.

Other than Kamara, I hope Moncada's men have looked at Lens DM Cheick Doucouré. Quite a capable young midfielder and could be had for less than Kamara ( unless we get him for free). Only issue is he would be off to AFCON as well.
Speaking live on Bobo Vieri’s Twitch channel, BoboTV, Antonio Cassano (via MilanNews) shared his thoughts on Kessie and the renewal situation. He made it clear that the midfielder must step up his game.

“They put Atletico Madrid under, the result could have been even better (in Milan’s favour). Then the decisions of the referee and VAR were scandalous, but Kessie can’t do certain things. Forget the red card, I don’t know what problem he really has, it’s not the Kessie I respect.

“I used to put him at Bayern, PSG but this isn’t Kessie. I tell the player and Milan, find a solution that works for both. This is his distant cousin, if he hadn’t done these things, Milan would’ve won against Atletico. He plays badly in terms of concepts and attitudes,” he concluded.

Cassano lecturing people about bad attitude and underperforming. Nice... Sagrin

(Don't get me wrong, this time I agree with him.)
