It is true that without Pato, we would be left only with Robinho & Ibra for UCL, and Pippo/SES as backups.

In terms of Neymar, for me, it makes no sense to replace Pato with him. Why would you want Pato (5 years ago)? You have to wait a few years for him to grow into a man, and there's no guarantee he will be a Super-Star.

If I am to be serious the best idea would be to buy Eriksen, and somehow DeRossi. That would solve our problems and probably improve Pato. Getting Tevez for January and re-analyzing the situation in June is something we could all live with. Trying to replace excellent strikers with potentially excellent strikers? what's the point? We're better off surrounding Ibra with the best players NOW and try to win NOW.

There is a lot of hype around Eriksen, but I really don't think that he is in our plan. To me, De Rossi is the key, the dream, and it is interesting to see that GOAL.crap estimated his market value at 7 million for a possible January transfer (to Man City).

That's your boy, running off to the french league after playing for Milan for 5 years. If it's not the drop in his quality and confidence, then it's definitely for the money. If this rumor is true - Pato's already had agreed the deal with PSG before even Milan agreed anything - so this means he is the one that wants to leave and not Milan is the one who are pushing him out - like what we did with Kaka.

All this happening, with Pato's agent reportedly met with Leonardo, with Carlo's assignment at PSG, with Pato's criticism of Allegri....... the smoke is definitely increasing, so there has to be a fire somewhere.
