Today officially confirmed, all court appeals denied - 15 months in jail and 10 years of suspension for this.

If Italy starts handing out jail sentences for referees...nit sure the season will end. All of them will end up in prison

Nope. Was more than a month in investigation jail, than was let out to wait for results of trial. He was sentenced a while ago, but had appeal to high court, than to supreme court, so it dragged up to 3,5 years. But anyway, I doubt he acted on his own, so while it's nice to see that some ref finally got what was coming to him, but on the other hand, folks "behind the scene" went unpunished, so... not much of a "win"... On the positive side, certain "situations" on the field decreased dramatically after arrest, so it's still a small win.
